Location

This residence is situated in Paris. It offers good connections to line 13 of the subway with the Malakoff-Plateau de Vanves station lying only 800 metres away. The Porte de Châtillon exit of the Boulevard Périphérique is also close by. Malakoff can be reached in around 8 minutes on foot, whilst attractions such as the Champs Élysées and the Porte de Versailles exhibition grounds are approximately 20 minutes away by public transport.

    I absolutely do NOT recommend this hotel. Dirty, old, absolutely not worth the 158€ I paid for 1 night. Keep your money, stay away.

    Our stay was exceptional! The room was spotless, with many amenities and a huge cosy bed. The room was big enough to let us work from the room with no problem at all in terms of space and WiFi connection.The location is perfect for exploring the city: only 15 minutes driving from the Tour Eiffel and all the main touristic places.We (I especially) loved the delicious breakfast options served each morning: bio products, healthy options, and very rich.Lunch and dinner options are nearby, within walking distance (several restaurants, supermarkets, and pharmacy).The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable experience. A big shout-out to the director Alessio, receptionists, and breakfast staff! You are doing great!We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting for work or vacation!

    Clean and simple suites. Don't let the official photos fool you: My suite was much more basic. The reception is friendly, and I did not try their breakfast. The trouble I had with this hotel is the area in which it is located. Malakoff is a blue-collar neighborhood in which I felt safe but where I found it hard to find a decent place to eat. Cafes for breakfast are sparse. The one I tried close by had only coffee, not even a sandwich. There is a decent Vietnamese restaurant almost next door. There is no subway station close by, and the best way to get to Port de Versailles (subway) is with bus 191 and tram T3A from Porte de Vanves This tram also takes you to Cite Universitaire train station where you can catch the train to CDG airport. It is workable but just not convenient.

    Great hotel on a budget

    My husband and I stayed here for 15 days during the summer in August. I didn’t have the highest expectations when I booked our room because of the low ratings but I’m glad we took our chances. Check-in process was smooth and staff were very friendly and welcoming. When we got into our room, it was better than I expected. The bed was fairly comfortable, free wifi was provided, the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook our meals, although the shower was tight (if you are wider built like my husband, it was slightly tight for him) but it wasn’t a big deal. We knew before booking this room that there was no AC so we were prepared for that. The room had a fan which was good enough for us. I noticed there was no iron/ironing board in the room so I went to the front desk and they were able to provide us with one during our stay. They don’t clean the rooms everyday and only cleaned it once during our 15 days there but again, we knew that before we booked so that wasn’t an issue. We walked around in the area quite a bit (even past 10pm) and it seemed pretty safe. It’s only about an 8 min walk to the metro and you could be in the heart of Paris in minutes. We went to Intermarché for our groceries which was only a 5 min walk from our room. The only thing we didn’t like was the room smelt like someone had smoked in it even though it was a non-smoking room. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would probably stay here again. It was so much cheaper to stay here than in Paris where prices for rooms are over double the price.

    Large rooms, spotless, friendly staff, and good value for money compared to nearby hotels. My room even had a balcony ! Given also that the self-catering studios have all the equipment you want, what else do you need....highly recommend the place !
