My friend and I got a room and it was a beautiful experience. Central location, value for money and lovely staff. The receptionist was great, I remember his name was Ryan. Would definitely come back

    Birthday Balloons Taken Down

    rating20 Jul 2025

I stayed at your hotel for one night on Saturday, 19th July 2025.Before my stay, I contacted the hotel to request a cake, balloons, or any kind of decorations for my mum’s birthday. Unfortunately, the hotel did not offer or provide me with any cake or balloons. This was very disappointing. As a result, I spent €550 of my own money to hire a private decorator to decorate the room for me. Before arranging this, I called the hotel to ask if balloons were allowed. I was told that balloons were absolutely fine and that there would be no problem. On the day, the decorator came to decorate the room. However, the receptionist entered my hotel room without my permission and told the decorator to take down half of the balloons I had paid for. This ruined the design, yet I still had to pay the decorator for all of their work. This was extremely upsetting and wrong for several reasons: 1. The hotel did not inform me in advance that the balloons were not allowed. 2. The hotel did not offer any compensation for the money I wasted. 3. The receptionist should not have entered my room without permission. 4. At the very least, the hotel could have allowed us to arrive and take pictures with the decorations before taking them down.I tried to speak to the receptionist about this on the day, but he refused to take responsibility for his actions. I asked to speak to the manager but was told he was not there. I then asked for his email address but was not given it.Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable.

Our Second stay... This time in a regular room..., bed was great, room, clean as a whistle, disappointed that there was no Nespresso machine like in the premium rooms... but very happy all the same... Will be back for sure... Maybe I will have to ask for a Nespresso machine next time... eh...? A la Prochaine...!!!

    A Very Enjoyable Stay.

    rating17 May 2025

Just returned from a short visit to Paris -my favourite city- and my stay was enhanced by choosing Simon's Boutique Hotel! The accommodation is obviously newly refurbished -stylish and understated, in neutral tones. The bed was really comfortable, the bathroom very well appointed-with an excellent power shower and lovely complementary toiletries. Loved the provision of a kettle , together with a selection of tea/coffee; this is not always found in French hotels. As my room was at the back, it was blissfully quiet ,with a nice view over parisian rooftops; could spot Sacre Coeur in the distance! The staff are very helpful, friendly and welcoming, adding to the relaxed ambiance of the hotel. The location is conveniently close to the Metro too, only four stops from Gare du Nord.As regards the , it is a typical, inner city , residential neighbourhood- not touristy, but certainly not scary, as some have stated; I am a solo traveller of retirement age and felt perfectly safe there!Thank you to the hotel for a very pleasant stay.

Great value for a long weekend

    rating03 May 2025

We booked this hotel as part of a Eurostar deal and found it great value for our three nights stay.As highlighted in other reviews this isn’t the smartest of neighbourhoods but we had no issues late at night and whilst obviously tourists the locals don’t care.Location is great with a Metro stop five minutes away and equidistant ten minutes in an Uber (€12) from the Gard du Nord and Gard de L’est - you can walk and it will take 25 minutes. Our fourth floor bedroom was clean with a safe and desk/hot drinks facility and a very smart shower room.Comfortable bed and very quiet at night.Breakfast is excellent with pastries, meats and cheeses, scrambled eggs and sausages, variety of hot drinks and juices. The reception area is very nice as is the bar to relax in.I recommend this hotel for long weekends and ideal for Eurostar breaks.Don’t let the external images and negative comments about the area put you off - Champs-Elysees, the Louvre and Eiffel Tower just 30 mins by Metro and fifteen minutes by Uber.
