Location

In the heart of the city, the hotel is located just a few metres from Opéra Garnier and Vendôme square, a short walk from the Louvre Museum or the Champs-Élysées. From the hotel guests will also enjoy the perfect location for shopping, just one block from department stores and 3 blocks from the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Access to public transport is around 50 m from the hotel and the nearest train station, Gare du Nord, is roughly 4 km away. Airports in the area include Paris-Charles de Gaulle (approximately 25 km) and Paris-Orly (approximately 25 km).

Facility

The hotel was built in 1861. The hotel has 4 junior suites, 9 suites, 1 single room and 200 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by 3 lifts. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service.     We have just arrived. Unfortunately all the negative reviews written proved to be true. The hotel is badly serviced. The pressure of the shower is deplorable.There is no complimentary water in the hotel and all the cosmetic stuff is on demand. Compared to Le Burgundy, where we had stayed before coming here, this is definitely NOT a five-star hotel.
