    Hours of Waiting, Broken Amenities, and Indifferent Staff — Would Not Recommend

    We arrived expecting the stated check-in time of 3:00 PM, but they kept us waiting for hours, using “the room is still being cleaned” as an excuse. Only after the time had long passed and we finally complained did they respond — at first ignoring us, and only after we pushed further did they give us the room.The hotel’s own rules list states that penalties for late check-out start at 500 euros. When we pointed this out and asked them to compensate us for the holiday time we had lost, they offered no reasonable or constructive solution and once again remained indifferent.The hotel has two elevators, but only one of them goes up to the breakfast area. That one broke down as well, so we had to climb up and down the stairs to reach the breakfast area on the terrace.While it was 31°C outside, the air conditioning in our room broke down, and we had to call three times to get it repaired.The minibar was broken and wasn’t cooling.When we asked for slippers, they were only able to provide them 24 hours later.I would never choose this hotel again, and I do not recommend it. We were able to check you into the first room early, at 2:00 PM. The second room was ready at 3:20 PM, which was a 20-minute delay past our official 3:00 PM check-in time. To sincerely apologize for this brief delay, I personally offered you a restaurant credit. Regarding the charge you mentioned, we would like to clarify that this is for the early check-in service, and not a late check-in fee. Regarding the AC, please allow me to specify that upon your very first call, our technician and I personally went up to your room right away to address and resolve the problem. We hope you will recognize our efforts to make amends, and that you will give us another opportunity to provide you with a much better experience during a future visit to Paris.     Really good stay in a very stylish hotel in a great location - worth a splurge!

    I went to the One Alma for work, and my wife joined me on this trip. The location is great, with good access by RER from Charles de Gaulle, and a short walk from the Musee d'Orsay. The reception staff were very friendly, offering us a glass of champagne as we completed the check-in paperwork. Our room and bathroom were quite large, with cool decor. My only minor gripe would be that the desk was a bit minimal, but this is more a hotel for fun than for business. Since the room looked out over a large interior courtyard, street noise was negligible. We had a really good night's stay, and would definitely plan to return when plans allow. This hotel was by no means cheap - maybe EUR 450 fo the night - but it was a really stylish hotel in a great location that made a lot of effort to ensure our experience was good.     Comfortable, but many oddities

    We have stayed in H10 hotels in Spain and Italy, and have loved every experience we have had. We love the locations, the top floor views, the eccentric art, and the tight professionalism of the staff. I had set my expectations higher because this hotel is a self-proclaimed 5 star hotel, where the others we have stayed in are 4 or 4S. But, we felt overall, our expectations were not met. That said, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was dark, quiet, and the temperature easily controlled, so on a comfort level we would give the hotel 4 stars (nothing was over the top). The standout staff member was Adel, who acted as concierge and person who helps with anything. He was charming and above and beyond helpful and in my opinion was the only 5 star part of our experience. The weird stuff was that the hotel is branded as both the Juliana and The Hotel Alma One. I had read reviews about this, but figured they would be solidly The One by the time we got there, but there was bedding, menus, etc, still branded as the Juliana. The other staff either seemed unwilling or unable to help do anything, it was weird. At 9pm one night, a staff member tried to get into our room to "dust"...the shower doesn't have a rim around the bottom so water freely flows all over the bathoom floor and into the carpet, I got a glass of wine at the bar that literally had 3 sips in it, we added on a night and they made me pay separately for both reservations instead of all at once, they put my reservation is under a completely different last name because, they said, they didn't want to have to spell my name, which made check-in very confusing and I had about 3 jet-legged minutes of straight up fear that my family and I, including our young children, would have to find somewhere else to stay because I booked the wrong nights. I don't want to list all of the other oddities here, but I do hope they can get the kinks worked out. The place has the bones to be outstanding, but it is just not there yet. Getting the staff to be tight would be a place to start, upgrading some of the walmart-esque furniture in the room would be a good second, then fixing the double branding would make it less weird. As far as location, this is a quiet area, but about a 5 minute walk to good restaurants.     My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay. The staff are efficient, friendly and extremely helpful. Our bags were taken straight from the car to our room and we were offered a glass champagne at check-in, which was much appreciated.We were also given a voucher for a drink at the rooftop bar, which was lovely, but we felt a little background music would have provided more of an atmosphere.Our room was a good size and so quiet; you could easily forget you were in the middle of a city. The bed was very comfortable, with quality bedding. The only thing I felt the room was missing was a full length mirror.Breakfast at the rooftop bar was plentiful and the freshly cooked omelettes are delicious.The hotel has a signature scent in the reception areas, I don’t know what it was, but it was beautiful.The location was perfect for us, we can’t wait to return.     Absolute Perfection!

    Adel made my trip with One Alma unforgettable. It was a special occasion and he made every part of he trip perfect. From greeting us with champagne, to upgrading and decorating our room and just going above and beyond for anything we wanted. A true gentleman and a credit to the company. When we return to Paris this will definitely be the only place we stay! Doriane at reception (and another woman that unfortunately I didn't get her name) were so warm and friendly also which made the whole experience perfect. I hope the staff read this and get the recognition they deserve as it was really them who made the trip so great. The room (especially the bathroom), facilities, and spa were also exceptional. Location was good and suited us for seeing all the places we wanted.
