    A Restful Night in Fontainebleau at Hotel Victoria

    Hotel Victoria is conveniently located in Fontainebleau. Within town center, walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and the Chateau. Room is clean, recently renovated. and a bit bares bones furniture, and very comfortable bedding. Our room looked out to the parking lot and was very quiet, allowing a restful sleep, Staff is professional and helpful. Parking is an added plus. A few areas of improvment include streamlining/documenting keypad entry system, towel racks to advance ecological goals, and fridge in the room.

    Perfect oasis in the beautiful town of Fontainebleau. Lovely garden, nice clean and comfortable rooms and beds. Walking distance to the chateau and the wonderful choice of restaurants. Private gated parking (at a cost). Great service and great value.

    French charm in an historic building

    I really enjoyed the Hotel Victoria as it is an authentic place (not part of a corporation/ brand of hotels) in a historic building (former « hotel particulier »). The reception / service is very friendly, the breakfast is of excellent quality (for example not industrial cheese, real French cheese). A very charming place where I will certainly be back in future!

    We know Fontainebleau fairly well and have visited the town several times, this is the third hotel we’ve used and without question the best, quiet with a very large garden, good parking at 8 euros a night and superb for the dog. They gave us a ground floor room with French window opening directly into the garden which made the stay really easy. The hotel was very clean as were the private and public rooms, easy 10 minute walk into the town centre or to the chateau or indeed to the forest. Will certainly go back and happy to highly recommend the Victoria

    excellent location, but old rooms. no air condition made the room too hot to sleep in and when opening the windows the noice of the vehicles made it impossible to sleep. Very very bad sleep for four days.
