  Lovely location and friendly staff.

  The location of this hotel is perfect, you are situated in the lovely Montmartre, a stones throw away from the Sacré-Cœur. The hotel rooms are basic but for a three star hotel it is as expected. The air conditioning in the rooms worked well and the beds are comfortable. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, they ordered taxis for us on multiple occasions ensuring we had the taxi registration number and name so that we could find these safely and quickly.   We stayed in the Timhotel for 3 nights, the staff weren’t particularly welcoming which was surprising given the reviews and if we tried to ask for anything we were met with a disappointing reaction which left us feeling bad to ask for anything. The room was also right next to the stairs which is disappointing particularly as I told the hotel we were travelling for a birthday so you’d hope for a nice quiet room. On the other hand, the hotel was incredibly clean and in a brilliant location that is easy to get to from the station.   This was a perfectly situated location for the Elysee and other attractions. We also walked to other locations such as the St Martin Canal. The room was comfortable and had extra pillows. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable, which I don't always find. The only improvements I would make is for additional tea products and the staff to engage a little more.   Recommended by a friend, this hotel was well located on a quiet street near to two well connected metro stations, and only 8-10mins walk from Sacre Coeur. It was beautifully clean and tidy and the breakfast was one of the best I have had in equivalent hotels. We had a room with a view - as it was to celebrate a special birthday - and we were not disappointed with the fabulous view of the Eiffel Tower and Paris Cityscape. Would highly recommend and will definitely consider staying here again!
