  Friendly staff, great location near stations and Gare du Nord, decent breakfast, thin walls but very accommodating.

  The staff were friendly and check-in and check-out were easy.Breakfast was OK: yoghurts, coffee, juices, pastries, some ham, cheese, bread, jam, and butter.The only downside is that the walls are very thin and you can hear everyone in the corridors, and the doors are loud when closing.The location is perfect for what we wanted, with two stations nearby and another one five minutes down the road. Easy to get to Gare du Nord.I went for the Paris Hoka Half Marathon and checked out early in the morning before the race. When I came back, I asked if they had a room that hadn’t been cleaned yet so I could use the shower before our trip back to London. They arranged it for me and my journey was very pleasant.I am happy with the hotel and I would go back for sure. Despite the complete renovation of the hotel in 2024 and the installation of new windows in late 2023 to improve acoustic comfort, some sounds from the corridors can still be heard. I fully understand how this may have disturbed your rest, and I thank you for mentioning it with such fairness.Your story after the race touched me particularly: I am glad we were able to offer you a room that had not yet been cleaned so you could shower before your journey back to London.   I'd highly recommend this hotel for Eurostar Travellers

  Great connections, cleanliness, staff, value for money. Only complaints were sh t pillows and some actual mugs not disposable ones would be nice! For Eurostar travellers, that easy access from Nation is indeed a real advantage.As for the less positive points, you’re absolutely right to mention them. Pillows that don’t do their job can spoil an otherwise great night, and disposable cups never have the same comfort as a proper mug.   AVOID, for travellers with disabilities or sensitive health information

  CONTEXT: I am a Latin American (Latino) business traveler, fluent in French and English. I have a chronic illness that requires medication.- alarming violation of GDPR (EU data privacy regulations) regarding guest privacy: I left one of my medications in the staff refrigerator; that night, the door person stopped me when I was returning to the hotel and asked me “what are you taking the medication for?”, followed by more invasive questions about my health. He had not been present when I checked in that afternoon, so clearly there was some leak of data within the hotel staff that made it possible for him to identify me when I returned to the hotel that night. - in any case, this was a terrible experience to have as a disabled guest; I do NOT recommend this hotel for any travellers traveling with a disability or chronic illness.Other reasons for this rating:- “100% renovated,” but the renovations are cheap and make no sense (e.g., one light switch to control all room lights)- ⁠low quality breakfast service (while there’s a bakery with a morning “formule” next door)- ⁠cold water tap runs warm during hot weather- ⁠AC automatically turns off during the day (and re-sets to a warmer temp in the morning)- ⁠cleaning staff turn off AC and leave windows open during the day, making your room a sweltering furnace when you get back from a day out in the heat- ⁠barely functional hair dryer - ⁠nice new “rain shower” fixtures, BUT the shower space is so small that you can’t benefit from it. - noise from adjacent bars/shops through shower vents- dirty plates and cutlery at breakfast, after pointing this out, they did nothing to correct it- kitchen and cleaning staff fighting in front of everyone at breakfast ; later that day, the hotel manager was yelling at the kitchen staff in the lobby, in front of everyone- dirty elevator without up/down system- unusable stairs- old and dirty towels - no plugs in bathroom Anis RAIS, Directeur général at Timhotel Nation (100% Renove), responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback.We are sincerely sorry to read about your experience, and we understand the seriousness of your concerns — particularly those regarding privacy and the way you felt treated during your stay.
