This is in the perfect location, very easy to get anywhere, especially if you have the metro app and mainline app.The room I had was a good size, though it could do with a brighter main light.The hotel was clean though the hallway wallpaper was in a poor state.The breakfast wasn't big but what was there was enough for me and pretty varied.If there was a toaster I didn't see it and it would be a good addition.The only problem I had was at checkout.The daytime receptionist is good and friendly.However, I checked out on a Friday at 5.30am so still the night man.On arrival I paid for the 2 breakfasts I knew I would have, Wednesday and Thursday.The checkout man said I owed for another breakfast.First of all he said Tuesday. That was the day I arrived at 4.30pm so no chance of breakfast.Then he changed his mind and said Friday. That was the day I checked out at 5.30am. Again, no chance of breakfast.He was a horrible man and kept pushing it and I had a plane to catch so I had to do something that I hated having to do and that was shout at him and told him in no uncertain terms that I was not going to pay for a breakfast I hadn't had and just left.That really did leave a sour taste in my mouth.

A wonderful stay!

We have just had a short stay at the hotel Victoires Opera in Paris to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary and we were absolutely delighted with it. The hotel is small and very French ( not corporate in any way!) and is brilliantly situated within walking distance of Norte Dame and the Louvre. It is within easy walking distance of metro stations to go further afield and to the Gare du Nord. There are many pavement cafes in the area which makes it very convenient for eating close by.But most of all we were delighted with the very helpful staff who were so kind and made us very welcome, ( not always something you would expect in a big bustling city). Particular thanks to Cecile and Nenad who looked after us extremely well! Merci again and we hope to return!

Trailfinders hotel booking

Stayed here as part of a Trailfinders holiday visiting several capital cities within Europe over a two week period.Hotel is small and typically Parisian. Convenient for the Metro and nearby Westfield Centre. Plenty of bars, restaurants etc nearby to eat and drink. Whilst the room was very small and adequate it was clean as were the sheets and towels (not always the case we have found in Paris). The bathroom was extremely small and in need of modernisation as the shower unit was broken and needed replacing.Breakfast was adequate and cooked fresh each morning.Staff were friendly and very accommodating.

A short, but very nice, stay.It is in a great location with several metro stations nearby, including the RER express from CDG airport.The staff are friendly and helpful and rooms nice and clean.The breakfast is on the basic side with nothing cooked but it was plenty for me.No bells or whistles but that is reflected in the price.Loads of restaurants all around.I would happily stay there again.

Very comfortable and a great location. The reception and all the staff are very kind and welcoming. I have stayed here several times, and Rue Montorgueil is a buzzing street with great shops! Close to the Louvre and Chatelet Les Halles and many other places. Thank you very much. I look forward to my next visit.
