  Excellent Base with friendly, helpful staff

  Excellent base, close to the racecourse, clean, comfortable with extremely friendly reception staff. It is a fair way out from Pau centre and public transport is difficult if not impossible on Sundays and after 7pm, but there ARE taxis.   Avoid! No air con, smaller beds than advertised and a little shabby.

  We have stayed in this ApartHotel 3 times and always had a pleasant stay. This time, however, we were very disappointed. The beds are not as big as advertised, the room was tiny and what we didn't realise (our fault) was that there was no air con. Staff were as helpful'ish (under pressure) as they could be re: the small beds - but obviously couldn't help. Its a blame game, they deny responsibility for the booking site advertising that the beds are bigger than they are. Surely its the hotels duty to check all advertising before publication. I rent out two properties i own and i am responsible for all information i upload to a host booking site. I had booked to stay here on the way back from England but will now cancel and book elsewhere. My advise: if you dont mind sleeping in a small (kids size width) single bed with no air con in July - then stay here.If you do mind,- stay elsewhere.   Definitely not what is advertised on photo

  First room was given smelt of cigarette smoke which was terrible. Second room was ok but the decor shabby, tired looking and bed the most uncomfortable one I’ve slept in. Hot water ran out after a while in the shower too. Not somewhere I’ll come back to.The hotel have great marketing skills showing amazing photography on website to book but reality is far from that.

  Great value, very comfortable room and handy kitchenette

  Stayed a couple of nights here. Popular for business travellers and very good value. Very clean and comfortable, free wifi in rooms and mini gym. Only drawback is it's about 3 miles from the city centre. The reception staff were very helpful too.

  A positive surprise for myself. I've visited this establishment twice already and i found that the prices are low, the rooms are spacious, functional and well cleaned! It's better than what you would expect. Yes you can hear the noise from everywhere and the decoration is not luxury, but hey, 40€/night is cheap for the solid service you get!
