  The hotel is located at the edge of the old town some 10 minutes to the Château de Pau. The room was good size, clean, quiet. The front desk staff are very amicable and helpful with restaurant recommendations. The secure free parking is a great bonus.

  This hotel is a little far from the railway station but for those who don't like walking there are sometimes taxis and the bus takes you quite near. My room took me straight back to the 70's. This is not to say anything was wrong with it, but it did seem a little dated by today's standards. All worked efficiently and the bed allowed for a good night's sleep. The breakfast room is large, so one is not on top of one's neighbour. A wide variety of foods on offer to cater for all tastes. The staff from varying countries were helpful, polite and knowledgeable.

  Smiling and Gracious Staff!

  The free parking was what first attracted me on-line, but it’s the smiles and graciousness of the staff that will bring me back! True the parking is great, free (and secure, behind a gate) which is a big plus to me. The room is comfortable, and on the edge of the center, so you can walk to all the sites if you like. But the front desk staff was the best! Very helpful. Also a big plus and under the category of why hasn’t thought of this before: the room key folder hqs a map of the city center on it ! Brilliant! Will definitely stay again the next time in Pau!

  Excellent staff.The reception staff were so inviting and kind on our arrival.   This was a nice property. Pau was a pleasant surprise and this hotel put us within walking distance of most things we wanted to see in town. There is a very friendly and helpful staff who had excellent restaurant suggestions. It’s a little bit run down with lots of chipped paint and dated furnishings, but it’s very clean and is overall well-maintained. Double sinks in the bathroom were great to have and there’s lots of space for toiletries with a good amount of towel racks and hooks; the toilet had its own separate room. There was even a full shower curtain to prevent flooding the bathroom! They also provide free parking, which is private and secure in the back. We’d definitely stay again if we were in the area.
