  Amazing value for money

  Perfect location for exploring the city with excellent transport links to the station, football stadium etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was spotless, my room was huge and I had a lovely night's sleep in a very quiet room. For under £50 a night, this was an absolute bargain.

  Perfect hotel for a one night stopover

  The fourth hotel we stayed in on our European road trip, a lovely hotel for a one night stopover. Wandered around the old town, lovely cobbled street only 10 minutes from the hotel. Found a great bar The St Jacques Cafe, on the corner great people watching bar. The owner was so lovely he made us feel very welcome and looked after us, we were only staying there for one drink but ended up staying there for hours. Hotel staff very helpful, highly recommend :)

  Quite hotel in old building

  Stayed few nights in this hotel while visited for business. Overall the hotel is good from various perspectives. Location - right in the heart of the city center. Its 7-10 min. walk away from the shops, groceries and restaurants. Rooms - relatively large, clean and supplied with the useful equipment incl. microwave, coffee maker etc. Hotel staff - mostly helpful and kind which I appreciated much. Breakfast is not the best, also the lights in corridors were glitching to turn on keeping the area horribly dark. :)

  Nothing wrong, nothing outstanding

  Stayed for three nights for business. Hotel is centrally located - less that 200m walk to restaurants and bars. Room was clean, decent size and hotel was quiet. Bed was not overly comfortable - fairly thin foam mattress.   Great little place in centre of town with fabulously friendly staff

  Ideal place for us to stop for 2 nights during our recent Europa League visit to St Etienne. Nothing negative to say about this accommodation - Good-size room situated at back of hotel, comfy bed, spotlessly clean throughout the building and handy well-equipped kitchenette. Hotel staff incredibly friendly and proficient in Englsh and good knowledge of local area. Would definitely recommend. Breakfast is extra if you want it. Great place in safe location within easy reach of bars, shops and local restaurants.
