Lovely and well located hotel

We spent two nights at this hotel. It is very well located - close to the station but an easy walk into the city. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. We thought the quality of the breakfast was very good with plenty of variety. Very happy to recommend this hotel.

Water stuck in Bathroom + Very rude Receptionist

Basin in the Bathroom was stuck causing water to stand and not drained making it very difficult to use if not impossible to use. Shower was with curtain - so all water ran out during the shower making bathroom impossible to use after the shower. Receptionist was highly rude and unprofessional. This is not the standard and professional service you expect from this quality of Hotel and the price they charge.

Care and kindness!This year we again stayed, this time for two nights, after a river cruise and were again delighted. Great location, professionally run with friendly staff, This time we both had health issues especially on the Saturday morning. However the front of house team and the two cleaning ladies went way beyond what one would expect from hotel chain staff. Kind and promptly helpful. Thank you all.

Stayed two nights and there are positives and negatives about my stayFirstly the staff are friendly and the rooms a super spaciousHowever the rooms can pick up a lot of noise from outside as the station is opposite and appear to have people drinking on the greenThe gym is also non existentCentral location so can get to every central location quickly

Great location for the train station only about 4 minutes. We had a great room being upgraded from a comfort room. Both the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Reception spoke good English and were helpful. We had a good nights sleep, no noise at all. Would recommend.
