  On the "bright side": Very close to center, market and sea-shore; Splendid garden.On the "dark side": The hotel is still under renovation / refurbishment. Beyond that: Weak internet (have to reconnect frequently); Only 1 (electrical) plug in the room (you have to crawl under the desk), but 2 in the bathroom; Wardrobe too small to hang your trousers (or even your vest).

  The Adonis sits in an ideal location. Turn right and within fifty metres there's a wonderful day time market, at night a long and winding tourist market and shops and at the end the incredibly pretty port. Turn left and there's a succession of beaches to 64 Plages that takes you around the bay.Everything about Sanary-sur-Mer works beautifully, and it seems to offer the beauty of the Côte D'Azure without the flashiness and show.The Adonis is a bit of a work in progress in some ways. The rooms are being refurbished from the top down and the new colours , creams and white give it a light, airy feel. Helpful Stan at the desk put us in room 36 which was fine although we would have both preferred a shower to clambering into a bath with a shower.The bedroom was large and simply furnished and the bed really comfortable. The air-conditioning worked well, even when it was 36° outside.The self service breakfast well managed by Fatima was really good and could be taken into their very pretty gardens. The lounge was light and airy too and well furnished. Other guests were friendly and the restaurant that sat at the front was well priced and always busy.We'd definitely visit again.

  The hotel was under renovation. We had no prior notice of this although we were given the option to cancel on arrival (a Sunday afternoon in the school holidays). The room itself was scruffy but reasonably clean. One shelf collapsed in the wardrobe and could have caused injury. The breakfast room was clean and tidy and the choice adequate. We would not have booked this hotel had we known it was effectively a building site.

  Only stayed one night and arrived late but price for its location and cleanliness good value. Price included continental breakfast which was sufficient. It has a garden area which we did not use but a useful bonus. Could only comment on room, reception and breakfast room but all good for a one night stay

  This hotel offers great value for money. The staff we met were very friendly and professional. The hotel is ideally placed for all the amenities of this beautiful town. Would definitely stay here again!
