    Very good value!

Fantastic situation in the center, very friendly staff also concerning our Jack Russell, spacious and functional studio, tasty breakfast. If you expect 5 stars go to a 5 star and pay the price. Here the value for money is excellent. We recommend!

    Decent location, hard beds.

I chose this hotel on location and price, and I got what I paid for. It's in between two metro stations and there's a convenient bus route (14) directly outside. A small supermarket is at each metro station, and the studio had everything we might have needed for making our own breakfasts and light meals. The shower was fine and the air con mostly worked. The bed, however, was like sleeping on a board with a thin layer of foam. I prefer a firm bed, but this was too hard – to the point that I sometimes woke up sore if I was in one position for too long. I honestly thought that a mattress topper (like at Ibis) was missing. Be warned.

    Great value budget hotel

    rating29 Mar 2024

Enjoyed my stay at Aparthotel Adagio Access Toulouse Saint-Cyprien, Good value I found the receptionists good and helpful. They seem to appreciate my french. I am learning french. Good bed, shower. Room was clean. Tv is french channels only. Great sport channel L'Equippe for football!. Got the airport bus to Jean Jaures. 9 euros. Metro to St Cyprien.( 10 tickets for 15 euros), although you can use your contactless bank card it seems on the metro.. About a 100 metre walk from there. .Easier to find in daylight, No illuminated sign on hotel. Quite Straight forward. Airport tram T1 is closed at the moment for upgrade. There are bakeries and a great little Carrefour city supermarket not far away from the hotel. I got some cheap meals and used the microwave and fridge. Got a sink and two hot rings. Clean, Very useful. Toulouse has a great metro, bus , tram service for getting around. Hot drinks in reception cost one euro. Useful coming back from a day out. The room is only cleaned once a week. Unless you pay extra. I had one large towel and two small towels for my 6 day stay. I always take my own towel as extra, so no problem. Tips . Take your own towel as a spare and a spare bin bag. Bin only emptied at end of stay. If you want 5 stars this hotel isn't it for you. But the hotel is a great value basic hotel for what you pay. Especially if you are a clean and tidy person. Fine for me, the right choice. I slept well. You can quickly get anywhere on the metro. I didn't try breakfast as I try to use the boulangeries so I can practice my french with the locals. This a good value, basic hotel. Next to a post office, I would stay there again. Good places to visit are Musee Aeroscopia( Planes) and Cite de l'espace (Space Center). Do the Lune explore ride, amazing! Jean Jaures and Esquirol . For a Good Value basic clean place to stay I recommend the hotel.

Unhelpful, disrespectful and unfriendly staff. Stains throughout room never cleaned.

    rating19 Dec 2023

Extremely inattentive staff that treat guests like nuisances. Upon arrival to my room there was a very prominent stain in the carpet, on the front of the fridge, and on the wall. The wall stain in particular would have taken literally 30 seconds if they had any attention or pride in their service... I spoke with the black woman with a managerial air at reception who while saying she couldn't do anything about the carpet initially was quite respectful and promised to have someone come and clean the wall. No one ever came to clean the wall. One of the men working the night shift was extremely unhelpful, as was the receptionist woman with the short hair. They don't seem to know the city or even the neighbourhood. They barely look up at you even when you try talking with them and most seem bothered if you take even 30 seconds of their time and were very rude. The young woman receptionist was some respectful and certainly friendlier than the others but even most of her advice and recommendations too were very basic, just surface-level.Cleaners walked in to the room without knocking and would be yelling loudly at each other outside guests' doors. At one point the same man receptionist while I was once patiently waiting for him started speaking aloud - I politely asked him "pardon" to which he just gruffly, dismissively said "I wasn't talking to you" and went back to his computer. The head cleaner(?) too I tried to mention that I'd been waiting a week for someone to come and clean the wall and she just started talking in an extremely patronizing manner, as if I don't understand French and without listening to anything I said.Despite their signs of "s'entraider, respecter" etc upon arrival they don't do this at all, let alone cultivate an example of an atmosphere where guests will do it for each other. It's all rather weird when there are plenty of strangers you can meet right outside the door who are not employed in hospitality but who nonetheless actually bother to be friendly and welcoming...I would much prefer staff who are patient, respectful and helpful in French than rude in English (or rude in both!).As other guests also wrote the pillows were quite small and few.

    Poor experience

    rating15 Sept 2023

The only positive I can find with this place is the staff. Very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is not the best - a run down area about 20-30 mins walk from the old town. The towels had holes in them. The sheets were clean but the pillows were lumpy (and only one provided per person) and the mattress was thin. The bed was a double bed but the bed head and side tables built for a queen size. Carpet thin and sticky. Wall trims falling off. No floor safe, broken sink plug. Window could open but no way to keep it open so no fresh air possible. Air conditioning did work which was a blessing. The stench in the room from the drains was overpowering- alleviated to some extent by a jug of boiling water and a squirt of dishwashing liquid in each drain. The breakfast was basically continental but the coffee undrinkable. There was a small fridge in the room with some basic equipment but no tea or coffee or milk provided. One washing machine, dryer and iron for the entire hotel (located in the basement). One lift with queues at check out and check in.Overall a very tired hotel in a poor location.
