  Exceeded My Expectations. Bravo, Citadines!!

  I wasn't sure what to expect as Toulouse is a big, bustling, crowded city but as it turned out I was pleasantly surprised. Reception (Euan and other staff) were on the ball and very welcoming A good start!Our room had excellent AirCon..an absolute must I Toulouse which is so hot..day after day..even in September. The room was large, comfortable, fridge included and comfortable bed. Guests had access to fresh towels and bedding from Laundrey Room as needed. It was also a quiet room. The breakfasts were basic and adequate. We did like the large garden area out the back which was a tranquile oasis in the midst of a bustling city. We often sat in the garden where we would drink the free self- serve coffee which is available 24/7 Our only concern was that a large overseas work party were at the hotel during our stay It was a minor concern but each morning they seemed to be everywhere in the breakfast room and we were left with few seats. As it turned out, we went to breakfast at a later time so as to avoid the large crowd So not sure if large work project teams use the Citadines as a base. I will ask next time I'm here Yes, I would return and thoroughly recommend this hotel.   A place full of problems and with horrible arrogant staff. In my several stays that were booked for me by my employer, everytime something have stopped working (AC, toilet, fridge, etc.), and no proper solution was provided.   Hotel very well located (close to many restaurants, bars and supermarket). Very good check in and check out service. The room I imagined would be a little more modern. But it was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was diverse and ok. I would stay there again.   All good - just watch out for the car park

  Just a one night stay with friends. Exactly as described. Room had plenty of storage and the pullout couch was big and comfortable. A bit dark but it was December. Main Tip - the car park entrance and descent should not be attempted in a large vehicle unless you are a very competent driver. Very tight access point. Staff very friendly and helpful.   Not Bad, But Could Be BETTER

  It was my second time back to TOULOUSE, France! But first time staying at Citadine Wilson Toulouse. The location is SUPERB! 5mins walking distance to MRT station, bus station, and most importantly restaurants. Easily accessible though any public transportation. For a traveler who always wake up early would definitely need a convenient shop nearby. Unfortunately, there is none when I walking around the nearby vicinity around 6++am. A supermarket next to the hotel was closed at around 8pm. Many of the shops and shopping malls also closed around the same time. WOW! What a life at Toulouse! My arrival experience was pretty good as the male staff speaks good English with a smiley face all the time. BUT I was given an occupied room. When I reached the room given, I rang the bell, knocked the door, scanned my keycard. When I was about to open the door to enter, another guy opened the door & looked at me strangely. I was so embarrassing & awkward. When I walked back to the reception, he just "Ah... You room should be XXX", without any apology... Opps... X1 As for a foreign traveller like me, WiFi connectivity is extremely essential & important. I allow myself to be away from mobile phone checking emails or text messages while enjoying the trip out of hotel. BUT I would expect to have high speed WiFi when I'm back to hotel. Unfortunately, the WiFi was down for a day which I was unable to access the Internet at all. And the reception has no idea when will it recover... Opps... X2 Furthermore, for a hotel that fully encourage & support CSR/ESG is quite nice. But the basic work needs to be done consistently. The body shampoo was not refilled. It was OK as we were advised that there is a Comfort Room with all the amenities. Aikss... There is no body shampoo, there is no standby stock with Reception, there have no key to access to the storeroom. So I requested if there get it, can deliver to my room at night or the next morning. The guy at the reception was very courteous & promised to deliver to me. Unfortunately, it was a empty promise till the next day, it never happen. Then I went to the Comfort Room again & told another female staff at Reception. Again, there is no stock and she has to run here and there to find for me. Apparently, upon check out, he asked me if I received it as he handed over to the next shift but... He was still courteous with his warm smile which make you calm down with this shortfall. Opps... X3 Nevertheless, the apartment has a spacious living room + fully equipped kitchenette and a king size bedroom, with a separated toilet & bathroom. Overall cleaning still acceptable.
