  Friendly and great location

  Enjoyed most everything about our stay at the "well seasoned" Hotel Heliot. I usually ask for the highest floor but was happy to carry our bags up just one flight. Excellent location and right by the subway, buses and airport bus stop. We picked up a car the last day and their parking area was tight but fine. Frederic was super nice, breakfast was a typical French combo of croissant, baguette, coffee and juice. TV was all foreign, room was good sized, outlets by the bed as they should be, and we could walk everywhere. Two min to the Victor Hugo market, 15 to the river for sunset, etc. The reason I can't give 5 stars is I absolutely detested that shower. It was so small, you could barely turn around or lean over, there was no shelf for bringing in your own products and the towels were small and thin. Other than that, I'd go back. And we did try to do that when our flight got screwed up and we had to stay an extra day.

  The Héliot is a very comfortable and conveniently located hotel run by an extremely kind and helpful owner. You will be very close to the train station and just around the corner from the Tisséo airport shuttle bus. The great public market is also nearby. There's no lift, but my room was pleasant and much larger than the average hotel room. It had two very welcome luxuries: 1) an electric kettle with the makings for coffee and 2) a heated towel rack. So civilized! M. Frédéric was welcoming and ready to give suggestions and advice when needed. I look forward to going back some day.   Great trip to Toulouse.

  Frederic, the host, was very nice and helpful. The hotel is quaint but a little dated. There is no elevator so you will have to carry your baggage upstairs. Shower only contain one liquid soap for hair and body, and no body lotion. Location was very good with access to shopping and restaurants. Toulouse was a great place to stay for 4 days!
