    I don’t recommend it.

    rating02 Aug 2023

I don’t recommend it. The receptionist who was at the desk when we checked out forced us to give us a good review on booking.com. He was unfriendly when we checked in as well as at check out. The room we stayed in was not clean at all. Stains on the wall, holes in the wall, but they filled it up with paper. The bathroom was so small I could go to the toilet, wash my hands in the sink and wash my feet in the shower. Overall it was a very unhygienic room and dit not seemed to be cleaned.

Do not recommend, even for the price

    rating12 Mar 2020

Except for the friendly woman who was at the desk when I arrived, the rest of the stay was horribly disappointing at best. Depressing, Shabby, beat up room. The maid did not provide fresh towels so I had to go ask and the guy at the desk refused to give me an extra towel for my hair. Made me feel like an imposition rather than a paying guest. Beware no elevator and wooden steps, you can hear everyone come up the stairs from many floors away. Pay a bit more and stay elsewhere!! Cosy but Great

    rating11 Mar 2020

I have to say that this could be one of the smallest rooms I've ever stayed in, however seeing as I was a guy travelling alone, it was pretty ideal. The bed was so comfortable and the room itself was neat and clean, with awesome art on the walls. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke great English. Location was great, a short walk to the train station as well as into the city centre. Overall was exactly what I needed for a short solo stay in the city. Fine for a little stay in Toulouse

    rating24 Oct 2019

3 nights stay in Le Pastel Hotel from 21 to 24 October- Location : coming from the airport of Toulouse, you need to take a Tramway and a metro. once you are off the metro station Jean Jaures, you will find the hotel after 10 minutes walk ( Think of using a GPS or using google map directions thanks to free wifi of one of the cafes that you find just when you are off the electric stairs of Jean Jaures station )The hotel is located in a calm street, short walking distance from Jean Jaures Station which is a good starting point and linker to visit the beautiful places of Toulouse ( Pont Neuf, the Capitol place, the historical downtown, ...)20 meters from the hotel, there is a little supermarketfast foods ( Kepap, paninis, sandwiches, ...) are at 2 steps from the hotelThink of buying a 3 days transport pass called Tesseo to enjoy unlimited use of tramway and metro in Toulouse.- Room : Room 35, single room I booked it directly on the hotel`s website, 135 euros for 3 nights, non modifiable non refundable. There is no lift that takes you to the room but t did not bother me since I had a backpack only. for a single usage, it was ok. the space was a bit small but fine . the bed was good, I didn`t use the AC because it was a bit cold at night, I rather used the bed cover. there are 5 hangers, a table, a Tv that works well ( I just tested it to see if it works or not and i saw that it has French and international channels ). The bathroom is small too but it is ok since the hot water was available around the clock and there were no sinking or flushing troubles.the shower is not in a cabin, there is a curtain instead.- Housekeeping :the bed was done every day. The room was cleaned and the bathroom`s towels were changed daily . the hotel ( stairs and reception ) is clean.- wifi : Free wifi worked well in the Reception and my room.- Reception : fast check in. I was given a bill without I asked for it . Good job!- Breakfast : I didn`t try it. They offer one for 10 Euros per day. I prefered to have breakfast elsewhere. In General : if you do not mind to be in a small room, if you look to the hotel room as a place just to have a nap or night sleep, then go for it ! Good Value, Comfortable Stay

    rating23 Oct 2018

Very reasonable price. Sure the rooms are small, but it is Europe. Super comfortable beds. Great location for walking around the city. Strong WiFi. I liked the roller shade and window. Fun to look out and see life going by. Would stay here again! ZAHIRAR25, Directeur général at Hotel le Pastel, responded to this review Merci beaucoup.
