Great location. In need of an update, though.
28 Jul 2025
The location was perfect, near both the city centre and the train station. We had a quiet room, which was nice, so we slept well, and the breakfast buffet was fine. Overall, though, the hotel could use a serious update, as the red carpets on the floor were worn out, and the ceiling in our room was cracked, and some paint fell off. Réception LE CLOCHER, Guest Services / Front Office at Hotel Le Clocher De Rodez, responded to this review Hello,Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We’re glad you appreciated the peacefulness of your room and our breakfast offerings. Your comments help us focus on areas for improvement, and we look forward to welcoming you back for an even better experience. The Reception

In a good location
12 Dec 2024
The hotel is in a good location -just around the corner from the airport shuttle stop and opposite the bus station. The reception and breakfast area are light and airy, but the rest of the hotel is in need of some TLC in general. The carpets are grubby and the paintwork scuffed. We had room 217 which was right next to the lift, which was very noisy. The room itself was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. There was only one length of curtain which was much too narrow for the window, so the outside light was shining in. There was a decent size wardrobe and cupboard space but no safe in the room. Towels were clean and bright and there was plenty of hot water both day and night. The hairdryer was excellent. Overall the bathroom is a bit small. There's not much room for drying after a shower. Take a kindle or something with you as there are no free English tv channels. Breakfast was served between 6.30 and 10.30, which suits most people. There could have been a better choice, however it was ok for our needs. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Would we return - It would have to be a lot cheaper than the price we paid for 5 nights this time. Réception LE CLOCHER, Guest Services / Front Office at Hotel Le Clocher De Rodez, responded to this review Dear Helen, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We're glad you appreciated our convenient location, helpful staff, and certain amenities like the comfortable bed and excellent hairdryer. We value your comments about areas needing improvement, such as the curtains and overall upkeep, and will work on these to enhance the guest experience. Your suggestions are very important to us, and we hope to welcome you back in the future at an improved value. Safe travels!

would stay again
12 Jun 2024
strange really it was clean the bed linen was clean , the breakfast good but i had the feeling that they would not have to spend a massive amount of money to make a difference! old paint cracked, although clean the toilet and bathroom was old and tired , the grouting cracked on the tiles, render in a bad way. that said i would stay here again. Jeanne LECLOCHER, Guest Services / Front Office at Hotel Le Clocher De Rodez, responded to this review Dear Tony, We appreciate you taking the time to review your stay. We are sorry if the room was not to your standards, but we do make small renovations throughout the year and try to maintain this historical building in the best shape possible. In that sense, we also pick our products very carefully, may it be for breakfast, cleaning or other in a responsible way by encouraging our customers to consume better. We would love to have you again, as you seem to have had an overall very good experience with us ! Kindly, Margaux

Centrally located near train station and center

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Clean bathroom but has a bad smell. The bathroom mirror has normally a light on it but it was broken so I complained to the receptionist if they can fix it but during my 2 nights stay it wasn’t repaired, it’s difficult to put on my makeup in a dim light. I stayed in room 116 in the ground floor. My friends stayed in 118 they have no issue at all .It was very quiet. The hotel is centrally located near the train station and city center. Many Restaurants nearby. We can highly recommend this place to everyone visiting Toulouse its value for money and central location. Jeanne LECLOCHER, Guest Services / Front Office at Hotel Le Clocher De Rodez, responded to this review Dear client, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel !We are glad you were able to make the most out of the location and that the stay with your friends was pleasant. As it turns out, we needed to order a new piece for the mirror in room 16, so that is why we were not able to repair it immediatly. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you also for recommanding us : we do appreciate when our guests like our service, even when they experienced inconveniences. We would love to have you again should you come another time, Kindly, Margaux
