    3 NIGHT WEEKEND IN TOULOUSE

    rating03 Jun 2026

Not quite sure boutique is the right description, by our count this hotel has 52 rooms, and I always thought "boutique" meant small and quirky. But this does not take away from the fact that this is a very comfortable hotel, room was fine, agree with the review that said it could do with a few drawers/shelves for clothes storage. Decent bathroom with a good shower, however, the separate toilet (great idea) was rather cramped. At 6 ft 2 ins, my knees were banging against the door, and the only way to get enough leverage to stand up was by opening the door. The hotel is in a good location, only a short walk of 10 mins or so to the Place Capitole. A metro stop very close by, and tyhe airport bus stops practically outside the front entrance. I would say breakfast was adequate, not much choice on the fresh fruit front, and not totally convionced it was worth 20 euros/head.Nonetheless, this is a very comfortable hotel, very well located, excellent staff. Would happily stay again.

    Nice central hotel

    rating01 Jun 2026

Nice hotel facing a busy street but located just a few hundred meters from old town. Our room was spacious with a good, firm bed, and as the curtains were effective, the sleeping quality was great - you were not at all disturbed by traffic noise.Everything appears fresh and clean all over the hotel, so you have a nice feeling! The breakfast was good with a fair variety and English breakfast, but the quality of the bread could (and should) be stepped up.The staff is very nice and helpful.

Charming hotel , great location and wonderful staff

    rating23 Apr 2026

A small boutique style hotel close to everything. Staff was absolutely great providing us with information, arranging electric bikes and greeting us every time we entered hotel, asking us how our day went . The breakfast was plentiful with custom eggs done if you wished. Every morning you were greeted with a cup of coffee and a pleasant bonjour. Our room was at front of hotel and although we had great views street noise was barely audible. I highly recommend this hotel more for staff and location. We will return.

    Disappointing, loud, uncomfortable

    rating14 Mar 2026

Not what we had hoped—or thought we had paid for, We booked a superior double for 2 nights and had a disappointing stay, We travel 4-6 months per year at all levels from lux to barely above hostels. We typically enjoy boutique hotels because while the rooms may be small or quirky, their personality and vibe or history is usually worth the compromise. Les Capitoules purports to be a 4 star boutique hotel but both the room and service (from one of the desk team) fell well short of both promises. On checking in we were a bit disappointed to find our “city view” room was basically on the ground floor and “the city” definitely had a rather direct view into our room. This necessitated keeping the drapes closed—which resulted in a very dark room. In addition, the conversations from folks outside, gathering 3 feet away from our window, continued throughout the day & night. The interior hallway directly in front of our door was also the place where a middle of the night conversation continued for 20-30 minutes and woke us up. Shortly after checking into our room and realizing the noise and privacy problems we very politely asked to change rooms. The front desk clerk was extremely irritated by this request, told me that since we had already “used” the room (15 minutes!) and she had no staff available this would be a problem. In addition there was only one, much smaller room available for our two nights. Ok, understood. The next morning the front desk clerk was much more helpful, but still had no other rooms readily available and since it was a short stay we decided we could make it work for one more night. And we did. Other issues; the much advertised bar with the open atrium actually doubles as the front desk and is smaller than many people’s home office. It was decidedly not a convivial space. The “superior” room had one wooden and virtually unusable chair. There was simply no place other than the bed to comfortably sit. All in all a disappointing room, with unfortunate service that was not particularly charming and definitely not a 4 star standard hotel. Will not stay again and would recommend others avoid.

    Great location, quirky hotel!

Great hotel, small and quirky. We had an amazing deal for a weekend stay, central location and smart rooms. A few more drawers in the room would be my only suggestion.
