    Dissatisfied

    rating07 Jun 2022

Stayed at this self catering hotel for 14 nightsArrived at check in staff believed we were a family and we were not just a couple following morning summoned to reception and accused of double booking our stay which we had not after several exchange of opinions we were charged 98 euros for 1 night stay Since returning home contacted the company we booked with confirmed we did not double book since then the hotel refused to refund my o8 eurosAnd as for our stay breakfast very poor.rooms not cleaned on a daily basis unless you pay extra. Chairs in the room very uncomfortable. All in all my worst experience ever in anywhere in Europe Christophe Brousset, Autre at Appart'City Confort Tours, responded to this review Good Morning Mr GILBERT,We are very very sorry for the inconvenience. We don’t understand while on site, you have well understood with your wife and we have made a commercial gesture (normally you will have to pay more for the 2nd booking and you have paid only for one night). You have made 2 different booking with 2 different number (it’ not a mistake of Appart’City because you have made you the 2 booking and it’s not our reception who had made it because we can’t, it’s impossible; my colleague have sent you an e-mail to confirm the 2 booking and you have requested with 2 different name…you can check the conversation on Booking.com). You have well confirmed the 2 different time for the 2 different booking when you were at the reception. So we understand that you did'nt want 2 booking, only one, but it's a mistake and 2 booking have been made so there are conditions and Booking.com can confirme to you the conditions. So we are very sorry but we can’t refund the 98€ because it’s not our mistake (we have requested the same thing to Booking.com).And your commentary is unpleasant for our residence and for our staff while we have tried to satisfy you as best as we could. We hope you will understand our mail and our system. We wish a nice day.Best regards. The Reception

    Stop sleep and go

    rating03 Sept 2019

Stopped off for one night during a motorcycle trip through France. Receptionist was helpful and polite, got to my room quick, it was ideal for a shower and sleep. The hotel is close to restaurants and a small shopping mall. Don’t bother get the tram just outside the hotel door and got to the old town see the basilica. The restaurant I found was superb which made my stay. Do not bother with the expensive and inadequate and badly prepared breakfast, just move on.Other than that is was ok for the money.

Bad experience upon the arrival. Extra payment for a child 3y old arguing security reasons. AND the apartment is dirty.

    rating25 Jul 2019

I booked an apartment (double study) for 3 nights and upon arrival the receptionist told us that due to security reasons the apartment must be upgraded to superior apartment with capacity for 4pax. What? My son is 3 yr old and he still sleep with us which I told him. One more time he argues security reasons... Really? Extra payment of almost 70€ for a child who sleep with his parents... So Extra space for nothing but for money reasons. In addition, once inside of the 4pax apartment, the apartment is clearly and badly cleaned. Cigarettes (very recent ones and elder one pieces...) on the terrace, the borders of the doors pretty dirty, the wood of the floor borders are broken, the table of the "dinning room" also broken... And they say security reasons? What if my son cut his hand with those wooden broken table? ... Long story short, I don't have planned to visit Tours in the very near future but it's clear that if so I won't book any more at this apartments franchise. Better if you see.

    Horrible hotel

    rating07 Jul 2019

Tiny rooms, no air-conditioning and tiny bathrooms. Showers leak all over the floor and it’s hard to find any staff after 10 PM. If you want to anything you have to go down to the front desk and beg. To top it off since people somehow cook in these teeny, tiny rooms, the halls smell very bad!

    Just a Stop-Off

    rating09 Sept 2018

This hotel isn't the greatest, but we use it as a conveniently located stop-off point when going to Calais. The hotel is dated and not the cleanest or freshest. I wouldn't bother with the breakfast, as there is a shopping centre located across the road. The proximity to the shopping centre is the main benefit of this hotel. Since we last stayed, they now have new things such as scanning your passport on arrival and you have to pay for overnight parking - 5 euros. The hotel is nothing special, but you don't expect it to be. It's convenient and reliable just for the one night. The noise was quite loud where we were from the tram. (Also, take your slippers, because if you walk barefoot in the rooms your feet are black, the floor is not very clean!)
