This family-friendly city hotel is in the business centre of Tours, between the TGV station and the Palais des Congres. The aparthotel is just a few minutes' walk from the restaurants and shops of the city centre, making it the ideal location for business trips and family visits to the Loire castles. Orleans is around 115 km from the business hotel.

    Don’t believe there is air conditioning- it’s a misrepresentation!

    We booked for Friday and Saturday 22nd and 23 rd May. The weather was very hot. Whilst they advertise air conditioning this is a misrepresentation. You cannot have it less that 23 degrees which means the room is actually not that much different to outside. With 2 dogs panting and such heat it was impossible to sleep. We made a complaint and was offered a small fan which simply wasn’t good enough. Another guest with a young child also had the same issue. As such we had no choice but to return home rather than have another night in such heat with no air conditioning. The hotel have refused to even give the money back for the night we didn’t use. Terrible customer service. I would avoid this place.

    Conveniently situated close to Gare de Tours, quiet. Arrangements for late arrival worked well. Fabulous, roomy underground car park. Room very clean and spacious, but beds hard, pillows far too small and there were no covers on the duvets!

    Really wish we could have stayed here longer! We had 1 night in a very well-equipped, spacious T4 apartment. A balcony would have made it perfect! The secure underground parking was a particular attraction when staying in a city. We walked into town and enjoyed exploring the old town, the river banks and generally soaking up the atmosphere.There is a bakery about 10 minutes walk away if you don't want to pay 11 euros per person for breakfast. There is also an Auchan supermarket about 10 minutes in the opposite direction over the pedestrian railway bridge.Although the hotel overlooks the railway, soundproofing is excellent. Would definitely recommend this place whether travelling by rail or car.

    Hotel is close to the train station and restaurants. Free parking relatively easy to find on the street or paid parking under the hotel. After 8pm, you must have a code to access the hotel. We made our reservation via 800 number in USA, and did not know this. Arriving after 8pm, we did not have the code, but a most helpful person at the Mercure hotel next door assisted us in calling the after-hours number. The code had been sent via email by we were not aware of this arrangement. This is a communications problem within the Accor reservation system and in no way a negative towards the Adagio hotel itself.

    The accommodation was clean and as advertised. The staff were friendly and helpful. A short walk to the Tours tram service was very helpful. Very close to the main railway station. The parking below the hotel was very useful with an elevator directly to it ..... not always the case !
