    Horrifying find in towel - fresh feces!

    A horrifying stay! Woke up to take shower and my husband grabbed a folded “clean” towel to find fairly fresh feces! Not stains…I about threw up. Also, room was barely cleaned that day. I would assume a disgruntled cleaning crew. The worst part was management didn’t care. I am beyond insulted.

    Nice new hotel in a perfect location right by the river. Our room was of a very nice size, very clean with a view onto the river. We were checked in very quickly on arrival by a very friendly lady who also made some good dinner suggestions for us. Breakfast was also very good with a good selection. The only 'slight' downsize is the underground public carpark at the hotel, the price was fine but it was nearly completely full and the drive down is very tight, probaly not for a standard car but we had a large bike rack to get round the corners as well. To top that off, the lifts were out of order! Apart from that little issue (which has nothing to do with the hotel), it was a great stay and I would stay here again without question.

    I was part of a group tour and we spent two nights in Tours at the Hilton Garden Inn Tours. It was a very nice hotel stay. It is in the center of town, not far from a major shopping strip. It is very spacious with a large lobby. The furnishings are somewhat bohemian-nothing matches, chairs and tables of all different types but it works well in the space. There is a foosball machine in the lobby which gets a lot of use and an espresso machine that charges 2 euros a cup not far away. The breakfast was good and comprehensive-it gets crowded and many groups had to split up and sit where they could so get there a little earlier especially if you have to leave for sightseeing. One unique thing I found was that on the third floor of this hotel, there is a washer dryer for patrons to use free of charge. This was a nice feature but when I investigated as to its availability, it was always in use. But in the wee hours of the morning it could probably be easily. accessed. The room I was given was clean and comfortable and the hotel itself if very well maintained. In summary, it was a pleasant stay in a nice place in a clean and modern facility. I would recommend.

    Brilliant hotel for a stop over on route to the resorts down south. Grat selection of fab restaurants in the old town nearby. Parking underground next to hotel. River views from some rooms.
