    Interesting place, the restaurant is in an annexe so be prepared to get wet if it rains!Staff not as attentive as they should be, especially at reception.Room ,charming, but please provide larger bath towels.Food very good, buffet starter at dinner a good idea. Waiters good

    Stayed as part 0f a group holiday. Location for sightseeing good. Breakfast good, avoid scrambled eggs, horrible. OK hotel for young, fit, or families for a short stay. Rooms scattered, some a distance away from the restaurant, badly lit paths and steps to everything, no lift in main building, decor in rooms eccentric, size of rooms variable but clean and beds comfy. Staff pleasant. Our group were 60 to 90 years old and steps, even within some rooms ,bad lighting were an issue. Food at dinner was disappointing perhaps because it was part of a package for the group. In October, the heating was variable. Spa fine. If you are younger and staying in summer it's probably fine but nothing special.

    Quiet, comfortable inn near Amboise in chateaux country

    We recently stayed here while visiting Loire Valley/Amboise/Chambord and Chenonceau castles. It is situated in a small, quiet town. There is ample parking. They have a spa which we didn't use. They have chairs outside off their bar to enjoy drinks. They have a generous breakfast and restaurant for dinner. We enjoyed both. Out room was comfortable. The A/C worked great on the warm days we were there. It was close enough to visit Chambord and Chenonceau castles with a car and a bit of drive.

    We stayed here for one night on our way from Caen to Lyon. It’s a very impressive building. We were given a room in their annexe across the road, next to the public lavatories. It was very basic and the lock didn’t work. The lady on reception was very helpful and moved us to their Moroccan room on the second floor. Kindly she carried my case up for me! We ate dinner in Amboise. Breakfast was ok, but poor value - the scrambled egg was so congealed that you would have had to cut a portion! The staff were excellent, but we won’t be back.

    Excellent and friendly service in the hotel (Reception and hotel staff) and also in the restaurant. This was our third overnight stay in Mosnes - an ideal location for an overnight stop between the Channel ports and the Limousin area.Our party of six (three generations) enjoyed the comfort of our rooms, the bar and garden, the dinner and the breakfast. The spa also.
