    Agreed a time for an evening meal then find the Mgt havent even finished their meal so we were told to wait. When we were shown to our table we waited for over 25mins but no one came to even ask if we wanted a drink!, so we got up and left. As requested during your booking, an iron and ironing board were placed in your room prior to your arrival. We strive to anticipate our guests' needs and ensure their comfort.Regarding your dinner reservation, we simply offered the option to reserve a table in advance, as we expected high attendance that evening. There was no obligation, but it allows us to better organize and prioritize our service for all our guests.When you arrived at the restaurant, our team was handling a high volume of guests, particularly on the terrace. Only one staff member was on duty at that time, as breaks are necessary and legally required for our employees. Despite this, we always aim to provide attentive and quality service. We regret that the wait of approximately 15 minutes (not 25) was too long for you and apologize if this affected your experience.We are a small team serving homemade dishes and drinks, which may sometimes require a little more preparation time. We appreciate your understanding and patience in these moments.You also mentioned our breakfast in the Logis survey and left a comment on Expedia. While we’re sorry the breakfast did not fully meet your expectations, we would have appreciated the opportunity to discuss your feedback in person during your stay or at check-out.Your comments are valuable and help us continue improving.     A wonderful hotel in a beautiful walled town.

    We were made very welcome on arrival and shown to our room promptly. We then had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent The staff were all extremely helpful and charming. I had an issue with the electric car charger and the duty manager rang the company and sorted this for me.We stayed two nights in a superior room which was large and very well appointed.Both dinner and breakfast were well presented and extremely good.We have already booked another stay in this little gem of a hotel Olivier BLANC, Propriétaire at Logis Hotel le Puits Dore, responded to this review Thank you very much for your feedback after your stay with us.     Our room was quite small and up on the top level in the rafters. However it was very quiet and comfortable. The food was very good for both dinner and breakfast. Location is excellent looking across the square with a fountain in the middle, surrounding streets werrebvery historic.     Would definitely recommend.     An historic hotel right in the market square with free parking outside. The restaurant serves locally sourced produce with a menu that made choosing rather difficult! A breakfast buffet, with hot and cold options, was one of the best we have had, with everything down to fruits, seeds and choice of breads, cheese and ham. The best bit, the welcome from the host who, thankfully, speaks English and saved us from totally mashing the French language! If you have an EV there is a fast charger in the square (fee) and two free trickle chargers ideal for those with hybrids. At the time of our visit, the fast charger was waiting repair so don't bank on it. We would definitely stay again if in the area - thanks team!
