    Enjoyable one night stay here. Warm welcome by reception and although we arrived earlyish our room was ready. Bed was comfortable and room facilities fine. Shower was a bit of a squeeze getting in as it had a very narrow entrance! Lovely big bath towels though! Small kitchenette which we never used. Would have liked some breakfast teabags and milk for a morning cuppa. We had breakfast and it was quite disappointing…couple of small croissants left and told they had no more. Coffee machine played up and had to ask for the juice machine to be re-filled. We would definitely stay again….minus breakfast!

    I decide after a lot of research we would head to Vendome for our 1st of two nights travelling back to the UK after 7 months in Lot, as a Logis & ETIK member i picked the St. Georges with a private car park. First and foremost St Georges, you NEED someone on your Reception desk.....We arrived mid afternoon, i, having left my Partner parked wherever we could, this place is on a junction, entered into a very dark, totally deserted hotel.....how bad is this, i wandered around, finally giving up after seeing a row of room key 'cards' i went back to the Car, no idea where to leave our Car...We went up to the room, left our things and went for a walk around Vendome, arriving back there was now a very nice Man who spoke perfect English, got the Car parked and then asked about a Restaurant, many where closed, Tuesday, he phoned and got us a Table at a very good Italian across the road...I had booked the room at the front with a big corner bath complete with Bubbles, lovely Bathroom with a very noisy heater/towel dryer. Good towels. The room is big and looked better when the four blinds were down, the double glazing does nothing to cut out the noise, which wasn't too bad for a junction.The Bed...massive and far too big to make the room look right, average in comfort. Small kitchen area if you needed it with a fridge etc.Breakfast was good with my favourite 'egg boiler' so freshly boiled eggs for me and lovely bread....

    Stayed one night only. Enjoyed the nice service from staff. The hotel is nicely located in Vendôme with necessary things nearby. The suggestion I have concern room lighting, which needs improvement and switches to control the overhead lights from the bed. Secondly, the hotel uses the system of inserting your room card in a slot near the room entrance in order to have electricity in the room. Unfortunately, the slot needs to be illuminated in some way so you can see it without lights!Lastly, the shower set up is complicated. Personally, I prefer a hot spigot, a cold and a shower head, period! They have some complex system with two heads, a body wash system and numerous valves! Also, the floor of the shower is part of the bathroom, so water runs out of the shower to the rest of the bathroom.

    This eclectic gem of a hotel in the centre of Vendôme has an exceptional restaurant either on the terrace or inside.Great team who make your meal a real pleasure I had the most wonderful prawns on a beautiful bed of salad. Very highly recommend
