    Le Clos d’Amboise has it all - friendly staff, great food, beautiful courtyard and amazing proximity to restaurants and wine caves! We had such a wonderful time visiting and can’t wait to return.

    Lovely ambiance, to have on site parking was a massive bonus in a very compact town and the restaurant was fabulous

    I strongly recommend this hotel. We found the staff welcoming and helpful (they even made restaurant reservations for us when their restaurant couldn't accommodate us), and an excellent value. Our room was well equipped (including storage area + sitting area), cozy and had a very comfortable bed. Moreover, it was quiet even though it was next to the reception. The location was excellent to enjoy sightseeing in Amboise.     Steeped in history and elegance

    Elegant 17th Century mansion remodeled as an elegant 21st century boutique hotel just oozing character and history. It is in a perfect location for exploring the Loire valley with its vineyards and chateaus. It is close to the old town center with lots of shops and restaurants and a short walk to the Da Vinci house. Our room in the separate former stable was large, comfortable and well-appointed with all amenities including an amazing walk in shower and Mrs.Traveler’s favorite Fragonard soap. The main building has a series of well-appointed rooms for a leisurely drink or lounging. The restaurant is first rate. The property has a surprisingly large and beautiful courtyard garden with a swimming pool and parking lot. Bicycles are available. The English-speaking staff is friendly and helpful. When approaching on Rue rue Rabelais street just keep a sharp eye out for the very narrow drive to the hotel and parking lot.     Thank you to the entire staff of Clos d’Amboise! Everyone was very accommodating and kind. Amboise is a very special place and it was very special to get to stay in the beautiful Clos d’Amboise.
