Unexpectedly fantastic!

Did not stay but ate in restaurant - would not normally eat at a hotel but seemed to be our only option on a Monday evening.The food was delicious! The service was also very good. Great choice on menu de jour and very affordable wine options. Everything my hubby and I had was fantastic and so unexpected… definitely a place to go!

Quality hotel both in service, room and reception. To work, the bathroom for the ecological side and the toilet for a youthful, modern.Another point, the staff is very nice and customer service. I recommend.

Good for a night's stay

This is a review of the hotel, but the restaurant (which was excellent and worthy of five stars). The hotel staff are very pleasant, helpful and friendly. The hotel room was OK - quite basic and a bit tired, but fine for an overnight stay. In mid June the room got very hot. A/C or a fan would have been appreciated. No lift, but the lovely staff let us leave the buggy downstairs.

We stayed just one night as an overnight stop on our way back from Spain to the UK. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a comfortable large bed. The decor and bathroom needed an upgrade, but we could see that work was being carried out on other rooms. The same pleasant lady, booked us in, then vacuumed the stairs after the builders finished for the day. Then she came to our room with a pair of pliers to fix the radiator, afterwards she served dinner to us. The next morning, the same lady served our breakfast and later checked us out! Well done that lady, very professional with a sense of humour and such a hard worker.The evening dinner was delicious and beautifully presented, with fresh ingredients. The breakfast was fresh and enjoyable. The hotel is ideally located next to the chateau in a pretty little village. The car park is free and just across the road opposite. We would certainly visit again and next time pay a bit extra for a nicer room.

nice little hotel with perfect situation

The building and interiors are a bit outdated. However the (renovated) room was totally OK. (Luxury room costs only 10 € more). Reception was very friendly. Very good point is that they have in front of the hotel a private parking place. We had dinner in their restaurant and I must say that as well quality as quantity was very good. An last but not least : the hotel is really next to the Chateau of Villandry, which is amazing and a must see.
