    Our experience was mid to say, as we didn't receive the room we expected. We booked the junior suite for balcony but our room didn't have and we didn't have an option to shift also. This could be the reason we feel this stay is mid. Apart from that room was okay , with a decent view, as expected. This is minimum expectation for the premium paid. Other than that they have a good array of amenities with spa and direct ski access area (best). Breakfast spread is good. Don't expect a relaxed stay as there is always a constant noise from road as this is primarily a ski resort. so know what to expect. Service by the staff is swift and professional.

    A Change from New Gudauri – Glad We Tried Marco Polo

    We’ve always stayed in New Gudauri in an apartment, but this year decided to try Marco Polo instead – and overall we were really pleased we made the change.Pros: • The rooms were clean and comfortable, although fairly basic. • A special mention to Pavlay, the gentleman running the ski lockers – absolutely brilliant. Always helpful, friendly, and genuinely made things easier for us every day. • The restaurant was very good. Evening meals were excellent and definitely stronger than the breakfast offering. • The spa was lovely – a great way to relax after a long day on the slopes. • Restaurant staff were consistently helpful and attentive. • Reception staff were also friendly and efficient. • We were initially concerned about the location compared to New Gudauri, but it actually worked out perfectly and wasn’t an issue at all.Areas for Improvement: • The ski rental service could improve. One member of staff in particular didn’t seem very welcoming and didn’t appear very knowledgeable about what a national ID is, which made the process more complicated than it needed to be. • The bar atmosphere was disappointing. Staff rarely seemed happy and wouldn’t allow drinks to be charged to the room. It’s a shame, as this area has real potential but often felt empty because of the lack of energy and flexibility. • The gym would benefit from some heavier dumbbells. The space is decent, but a slightly wider range of weights would make it much better for guests who train regularly.Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider returning. With a few small improvements, this hotel could move from very good to excellent.

    Okay Food kind staff but very slow .

    I ate a few times at this restaurant with my family. The food was okay .the first time I had vegetables and rice it was very good , the second time it was totally different and not good The service was very slow . There are a lot of people working here . Every-time we had to ask for menu ask for order to be taken and ask for take away containers and always had to find someone to get bill. The staff were all kind but distracted .

    - Rooms are very very small ,,, the bathroom hardly fits you !i asked for room change and definitely the answer that they know is that: pay more you get better room.- The room is facing nothing , there is a tree blocking full view.- Hotel is very old and doesn't really deserve this huge amount of money, which is nearly most expensive hotel in Gudauri.- Towels are very old and need to be replaced immediately.- Room cleaning is a disaster, look at the - Attitude of staff is another story , never been in Hell like this !

    This is definitely one of the best places to stay with kids on the mountainKids room, our door play area, swimming pool, bowling alley, friendly staff and easy pick up for some of the ski schools. The junior suite is great, although you have to fold up the sofa bed to use the room and the beds aren't the most comfy. Location is absolutely brilliant for the bottom chair lift and hotel facilities are really good. The restaurant is more than suitable for all of our needs and staff were very friendly (especially to our kids!)We'd absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat
