    Needs a bit of maintenance, but still a favorite

    I like this hotel. I always have. But a few of the strongest features have fallen away. First, no one offered us a key for the HHonors parking stanchion, which was absolutely my FAVORITE feature on a previous visit. And second, the property is beginning to age without necessary maintenance. The walls in our room were very scuffed. Finally, and although they were VERY friendly about it: only one towel in a room for two people seemed inadequate. However, the service is still friendly and the breakfast quite acceptable. We didn’t find any hygiene issues so we were happy.Still our favorite hotel in Aachen.

    Came here on a Thursday evening for a business trip.Very strange experience. Room was clean, but hairs all over the floor, etc.TV was on,. but no remote in the room.Bed was comfy, shower powerful with plenty of hot water.Parking is not included in the price. Located about 100m in the low emission zone, right next to the football stadium.Breakfast was OK.

    Out-dated tech/hard beds/no mats in small gym

    The "highspeed" internet is absolutely unusable. It drops constantly or doesn't connect no matter what time of the day it is. If you are a student or businessman that needs reliable internet to complete tasks, this is NOT the place for you. The TV doesn't have an option where you can connect your laptop via HDMI or share your screen from your phone to watch your atreaming services. The beds are really hard and uncomfortable. The hotel looks modern but seems like they put the money into the facade and the lobby furniture vs towards tech and comfortable beds. The gym is small but has most items that are needed except for mats. A couple of yoga mats would be nice for floor stretches and situps. The breakfast at this location exceeds expectations. The staff is very polite as well. They couldn't help with the quality of the wifi however.

    Great hotel, just a 6-minute drive from the city and shopping center. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of options. The only reason I’m not giving a 5-star rating is the parking—it should be included with the room, especially considering the price.

    The German culture is the world around for being efficient and orderly. This hotel is no exception. SPOTLESSLY clean. Well run. Minimalist but comfortable.This was my second visit to the property, but first visit with a car. Hamptons in the US have the HH Diamond parking signs but no methodology or INTEREST in enforcing it. This Hampton has installed BARRIERS with KEYS which they issue to the Diamond members. BRAVO! (Why have a perk, if it’s not available?)Breakfast was good. The dishes were removed immediately. I WILL write to Hilton in hopes that the Brand Standards in the US can be raised to meet this bar. Send Brand leadership to Germany to see how it is done. If you are going to be within 50 miles of Aachen, THIS is your hotel.
