    An lovely hotel

    After 2 nights in France this was our first ever stay in Germany and we were delighted to arrive at the Hotel Rebenhof. Our room was superb with a super comfy bed, a great bathroom with an excellent shower and a proper hairdryer. The first night our 3 course dinner was excellent, huge portions so we declined desert as we were full. Couldn't fault breakfast which was generous and very good. Second night dinner was a disaster . We had a booking for 7 pm and 3 hours later we left the restaurant. Admittedly we had a five course dinner included in our package but service was so slow and the food wasn't anywhere near as good as the night before. If we had been the only guests waiting we would have concluded that it was something we had done to upset the staff but everyone in the restaurant was waiting an extraordinary amount of time. I assume there was a problem in the kitchen. There is no signage for the hotel when you arrive from Eisental so we missed it completely, once we turned around and headed back we spotted the hotel on the right. We can't fault the staff who were extremely patient with us as our German is non existent (sorry!). We would have rated this hotel as excellent other than the dinner service on the second night.

    Have stayed here many times, but not for several years. Half-board package is recommended because a) the food is great and b) you are a bit isolated. But that’s the point.     Fabulous hotel with superb customer service.Lovely little place smack bang in the middle of vineyards, creates such a calming atmosphere.Lovely big rooms, with views of the vineyards.Tasty food, had the evening meal and breakfast, no complaints.Shout out to the two ladies on reception who were so helpful and accommodating. I can tell you I’ve been to many a hotel with poor front facing employees.Would highly recommend a stay here.     Two night stay we had a junior suite

    We had a junior suite! The room was amazing apart from the bed that was two singles pushed together and not fixed so in the night the beds moved apart Don’t know why you would have two singles in such a large room with a bathroom that you could get 6 people inWe booked the restaurant but we didn’t enjoy the experience for the money we were charged The waiter gave my wife a menu that wasn’t the same as mine so had to be switched plus the waitress was dropping everything on the floor My steak came out totally covered in source plus I had another bowl of source with the steak! Really it should be something you put on yourself This place could be amazing but lacking a few extra details to make it soBathrobes would be great I think the restaurant was a let down For the hotel as I would not revisit

    Another repeat visit to this wonderful hotel. Friendly staff, good food (breakfast and dinner) and a fantastic location in the vineyards. Rooms are a good size, beds comfortable and good facilities (tea and coffee in the room; there is a spa but we did not use it).
