  Great stay at an great location. Breakfast was very good and the view exelent. we rented two bikes for just 10 euro each for a whole day. Gern wieder.   Great place close by ZOO and itself area is pretty good. Restaurants, shops, bars, Parks...very nice neighborhood. And close to centre...just 15 min by S-bahn.   Do not like idea of the 25h hotels but this one has the great view of my favorite zoo garden. The Italian restaurant next to the entrance is also acceptable.   Lively good vibe hotel overlooking Berlin Zoo

  If you like a hotel room with pastel colours and wardrobes and lots of drawer space then this hotel is possibly not for you.We were recommended this hotel by friends who said get a jungle room and watch the monkeys from your bedroom overlooking the zoo. The room was quite small but fairly open plan with a whole wall window overlooking the zoo, and a hammock to lounge in.The airconditioning was a bit noisy so we opted to switch it off and sleep with a window open. What a delight to be woken the first morning around 7.30 by the lions roaring. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was good and powerful, and there are good mirrors. Cupboard space was minimal but it didn't bother us too much. We were on the 8th floor and weren't bothered by noise from the restaurant or bar.The Monkey Bar on the 10th floor is great for music and cocktails ( and hammocks), with lots os outside space too, and the restaurant was good for breakfast and meals. The third floor has a day bar for snacks, a huge lounge for reading or working and another hammock station for lounging as well as a small shop.We missed not being able to make a cuppa on waking up to watch the view but there was a free minibar with drinks and nuts.The location is very convenient for shops, restaurants and transport links.All in all a great stay Thea twentyfivehours Hotel, Gästeservice/Empfang at 25 Hours Hotel Bikini Berlin, responded to this review Dear ElisabethG539thank you for sharing such a detailed review of your stay!
