    Such a cool hotel with everything saved from the old days! We had a great room with nice beds and a sitting area. Really good space. The staff was so friendly, all of them, cleaners, breakfast staff and several people in the reception. You can borrow cups and a water boiler (if you are like us that wants tea quite often). The price was also very good, cheap to be in this area and very close to the subway. I really recommend this place!

    Although old and somewhat worn, this hotel offers great value for the money. There is an old lounge where one can relax after a long day. The traditional restaurant “Alt Berliner Biersalon” is a few hundred meters away, as is the train station “Bahnhofstrasse Zoo”, through which the lines S3, S5, S7 and S9 runs. All four lines offer transport to the main station, Friedrichstraße station, Alexanderplatz station et al.

    The hotel was clean, cozy and warm. It's near the zoogarden of Berlin and the station of the autobus 100 that goes around all of the famous sightseeing in Berlin

    The room was very spacious and the city views from the window were excellent.The staircase was very beautiful in this historical building. Location was excellent at the heart of Kurfürstendamm area. The Indian man at the reception was very friendly.Unfortunately there was no handsoap in the bathroom and the internet was slow. Corridors were a maze and it's easy to get lost on your way to the room.

    Rooms were really old and the age shows. Some things were not maintained enough for example the handle to het out of the bath was only attached with a single screw and even that one screw was already halway out. TV was from 2005 but thats okay. No AC was a huge thing. It was super hot and windows open didnt help. Even a fan would be great addition. Also there was no fridge so any food/drink you bring will melt pretty soon. Bed was really comfy however. Toiletries were lacking with only soap available. No shampoo/conditioner.
