  Loved the hotel

  I arrived in Berlin alone for the first time, carrying complex emotions as someone from a Jewish family of Holocaust survivors. On my first day I was in shock and asked many questions, and the hotel manager answered all of them patiently. He also gave me very helpful information about unique tours in the area, which truly supported me during my stay.I discovered that the hotel is located in a very strategic and convenient spot, with trams and trains right there. The area is excellent, safe, and especially suitable for a woman traveling alone. It is also quiet.The room was very clean and had everything I needed and more. There was hot water, heating, and everything was perfect. They changed the sheets every day and refilled the coffee and tea, which was very comfortable and extremely helpful.They were flexible, which was most important for me. They allowed me to check in two hours early and check out two hours later, which matched perfectly with my flight schedule.I highly, highly recommend this hotel, its managers, and the entire team. It has a true Berlin atmosphere, and the service is simply excellent. I will definitely return.Many thanks to the kind managers. I will come back again.Warm regards, irit

  This was truly a bad, overpriced Hotel…

  I reserved a room for 3 persons 1 month beforehand . This wasn’t a art hotel at all. We got a small hostel like room in the basement with milky glas to the backyard. 170€ for this not existing quality…! I am very very disappointed! The staff was not present at any time so there was no chance for a change. The pictures online seem nice, but the room we actually got was more like a cheap youth hostel! Breakfast is not included, only for 13€ per person in the cafe next door. Bad choice to stay here. Not recommended, especially for that way to high price!

  Decent hotel

  Came to Berlin for a long weekend with my family, unfortunately the hotel they booked was horrendous and more of a hostel- without sounding like a spoilt brat I couldn’t stay in such a tiny cramped room with 4 other people so I decided to try to book a hotel nearby.Managed to book hotel Adele on booking.com for about €150 for Thursday-Sunday.I arrived late on Thursday so had to use the key box, unsure if it’s due to the time of the trip being affected by COVID but the hotel was eerily quiet and I do wonder if there were any other guests!I was just by myself and was pleasantly surprised by my room, bathroom with a bath, shower, sink and toilet (nice shower gel, body lotion and soap was also provided).I had a tv with a double bed and the Art Deco theme is nice- I really enjoyed the aesthetic of the place.Found the corridors a bit creepy, particularly at night coming back alone, room could have done with a floor length mirror, didn’t see any staff during my stay and the teas were not restocked during my stay but for the price at such short notice I can’t complain and would recommend hotel Adele!

  Watch out for the Bathroom!!

  The rooms are great without a doubt! They are large and stylish and would probably be deserving of a 5/5 review. However, be aware if you’re price is lower than others as at least one room (ours) had a tiny detached bathroom in the hallway (if you’ve been on a cruise ship and had the combination toilet/shower bathroom you have the idea of how small this is... which is especially difficult when you have such a spacious room). That detail is quite hidden in the room description so look closely. It is a bathroom just for one room, so if you don’t mind the idea of being seen in a towel or your pajamas go ahead and save a few bucks.

  Great location and stylish, comfortable room.

  We were a family of four and we very happy to stay in this elegant place (room 15). The street was quiet but it had lots of small shops and wonderful cafés in the neighborhood. Alexanderplatz is only two tram stops away. Easily recommended. My only complaint is the shower which had no door and was centrally located within the apartment, covered only by a matte glass. It might be a sensitive issue to some. But the shower was truly great, though, with a massive shower head.
