Location

The city hotel is located directly at the ‘Quartier am Auswärtigen Amt’ area. Facility

5 junior suites, 3 suites and 182 double rooms are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift.     My wife and I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel in Berlin. Although we checked in early, the room was prepared for only one person and had serious hygiene issues, including a dirty duvet full of hair. The reception staff was rude and dismissive when we reported the problems. The room was extremely cold, and the heating system did not work properly. The most serious issue was an electric shock caused by a defective hair dryer, which was a major safety risk. We were forced to change rooms at 3:00 AM without any assistance. Our vacation was completely ruined.     We stayed a few nights in November. Our room was cold. There is heating but it was too noisy to have on. The rooms do not get made up by default, you have to request this well in advance. The breakfast was good, but I was not keen on the loud Christmas music so far before the date. The location is great for the Museum Island, and taxis elsewhere are pretty cheap (even if all the drivers seem to be in a bad mood).     We stayed here for 3 nights the check in was very easy. The room was very spacious ( biggest room we had of our European vac) we had a king bed superior room the room was clean staff was friendly . We did use the underground garage for our car which was very nice . Breakfast was good . Very good location for sites walkable to the Brandenberg gate, museums . Check point Charlie etc .The underground train station close by bus route right in front of hotel. Safe area didn’t feel uncomfortable walking around at night . Had fresh water and fruits by the lobby . We didn’t use it but they had a cool robot that you could order drinks and snacks and it delivers it to your room. We were sort of disappointed after we left we didn’t try it. I would highly recommend staying here if ever in Berlin we would stay here again

    The hotel is spotless, beds were comfortable and staff very informative.Breakfast was excellent.It is situated very centrally to lots of attractions and a few bars and shops just over the river.We only stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

    If you want to be close the most historical sites in Berlin, you cannot beat the location. Getting there was incredibly easy and then it was a walk away to see most of what you want to see. The people were lovely and the room was very comfortable.
