  Comfortable Stay.

  Solo stay for the Berlin Marathon. Old style hotel, room was big, bed comfortable, shower a bit small but lots of hot water, staff friendly and helpful. No breakfast, but near coffee shops and Supermarket off the Kudamm. Excellent location, near ubahn and sbahn. A bit dated and basic, but a comfortable stay, no problem with noise mentioned. Would book again.

  Perfect location and beautiful building. However communication from owners needs improvement. We were not notified when booking that the buffet breakfast was not provided. Reception not always staffed and phone calls not answered. We felt slightly anxious that in the event of an emergency there would be nobody around. The room was small but had a high ceiling and a window looking onto a green courtyard garden. The beds were comfortable with good quality bedding. Unfortunately the walls were very thin re noise from next door. Bleibtreu Strasse is a beautiful leafy street, only 2 minutes from Kudamm and a short walk from Savigny with its restaurants,bookshops and excellent transport links.

  Good location and clean but tired decorative

  The hotel is in an exceptional location, very near to all the attractions of the best shopping area, restaurants etc. Very safe.Paid about £70, no breakfast, not sure it was competitive but ok. Nice large rooms with tall ceilings and extremely comfortable beds, clean.The hotel however is cosmetically tired with worn carpeting in places. The building itself isn’t owned entirely by the hotel, there are other businesses sharing it evidenced by paper printed notices stuck up detailing who is renting there at that moment. This means you have to walk to the first floor and through a door to find reception. Rooms are then down other corridors/other doors. It can be all dark at night through the non-hotel area.

  The hotel is located near Ku‘damm and S-Bahnstation Savignyplatz. My room was small, but clean, fairly quiet and reasonably priced: 36 euro (no breakfast because of Corona, but a good bakery opposite of the hotel). Several good restaurants in Bleibtreustraße. Check -in is easy, check-out possible until 12 o’clock. No charge for WLAN.

  Guy behind the front desk was immediately quite rude. When we arrived on the first night he claimed he didn't know we had asked if he could get us in some milk for our 2 yr old, although he had written the email saying it was fine. Anyway...I digress. I had paid for the holiday and the money had come out of my account, showing up on my bank account and I had a message from my bank to say they had taken payment. On Sunday, we went back to the hotel after checking out to collect our luggage. He was at the door waiting for us. He starts shouting at me saying we hadn't paid. I said "yes, do you want to see the bank receipt?" He said "I don't need to see it...your bank is not my boss". He then launches into a tirade against us English filth (his words!) That we never pay. He made me cry. I called my friend who speaks German and she spoke to him on the phone, where he was rude to her also. He wouldn't let us leave and threatened to call the police He wouldnt hand over our luggage and it all became very nasty. I ended up paying twice as I was with my 2 yr old and we needed to get our flight. The money is out of my account twice at the moment so n IU w I must go to my bank to try to claim the money back. I want to warn people... please don't stay here. It's not the first time he has done this and from reading the low star reviews on other websites (I wish I had read them before) he seems to have pulled this before. The worst thing for me was making me feel like a criminal and not even being calm about it, when explaining his point of view. Shouting at me in front of my child. Low. PLEASE...DON'T GO TO THIS HOTEL.
