    Great central clean hotel

    rating18 Dec 2025

Stayed 3 nights from 15 December 2025. Our room was on the 9th floor and extremely clean. There was no noise from the trains. Everything was in good working order. The young man that checked us in at nearly midnight was very friendly. This was a huge pleasure as we had been delayed for hours. No card for the room doors as it has a code entry system. The Alexa shopping centre is opposite the hotel. The train station and Alexanderplatz Christmas market is a 10 minute walk. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good value for money. Good location.

Good value for what you pay, but no bells and whistles. Staff does a decent job but does not seem trained in hospitality. Breakfast is good, and facilities are clean. Although it is close to the train station, it is a little bit of a walk to get there, so not advised with big suitcases. There is a mall steps away. Which is very convenient. The immediate area next to the hotel is a little dirty. This is a good hotel for a couple of nights and if you want to save some money.

Great hotel but keep an eye on your city tax

    rating24 May 2025

Our 5 night stay was good. Beds were comfy, room was large enough to sleep in, cleaning team made sure the place was clean every day after we had left and changed any towels that were used. Few negatives. The bathroom has a strong smell of cabbage/sewage. We found that by closing the plug in the sink stopped this. Piping seems to need flushing maybe? On our last night before going to bed, we asked reception if we could leave bags in the morning and he said yes, and for free. In the morning we were greeted by a different receptionist who told us we had to pay €2 per luggage item. This had to be paid in cash, even though the premises takes card payments and he kept our cases behind the front desk rather than storing them in the luggage room with everyone else's. He did this to a few others too, whilst allowing other guests to put theirs in the room. Seemed very suspicious and I got the feeling that he was pocketing a portion of the money for himself? When checking in, we knew there would be a tourist tax to pay, which he told us was €19. When I paid this and checked my bank, I was actually charged €27.93

    Wonderful hotel and amazing staff

    rating29 Apr 2025

The hotel is so central to all aspects of Berlin. It was a short walk to the main plaza. It was a short walk to the trains to and from the airport. The hotel was clean and comfortable the beds were very comfortable which was great after a long day of sightseeing. The staff were extremely helpful and Shahin in particular took great care of us. He was kind and always willing to chat and have a conversation. We would highly recommend this hotel for it's location and the staff.

    Solid and affordable option

    rating21 Feb 2025

The hotel was a budget-friendly option compared to others we looked at, and overall, I think it was fairly priced. Cleanliness is really important to me, and this place was spotless, which I really appreciated. The reception area was nice, and the staff were helpful throughout our stay. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were awful—so flat that even asking for two didn’t help much. The room temperature was tricky to control, constantly swinging between too hot and too cold. Opening the window wasn’t an option because of the loud trains, but with the windows shut, the noise was barely noticeable, so I’m not sure why some reviews complain about that. There were some good practical touches: safe and private luggage storage in reception for just €2, a powerful shower that heated up quickly, and towels that could be changed daily. The room had a hairdryer, two plugs, a TV (not a smart TV), and an all-in-one body wash/shampoo pump. Our shower seal was broken, which caused some leaking into the bathroom, but it wasn’t a major issue. The check-in process was smooth, and it was easy to contact reception via phone or email. They were also really accommodating when we needed to move rooms due to a loud guest snoring, letting us switch the next day with minimal fuss. One thing to consider is the location. Alexanderplatz has good public transport links and a decent mall (Alexa Mall), but the food options are mostly touristy chains like Five Guys and McDonald's. We found ourselves heading more towards the Brandenburg Gate side of the city, where there’s more going on, but taxis are expensive. It really depends on what you’re looking for.Overall, if you’re after a clean, budget-friendly hotel with helpful staff, this is a solid option
