  Small and basic. Uncomfortable beds, breakfast isn't worth it at all so go elsewhere. Parking is a free for all on the streets and main road. For the price and value its an okay hotel and stay, just not the most comfortable. Metro stop next door which is ideal to get around

  This place feels much more like a hostel than a hotel. The quality of the fit out is very low and there are damaged walls and doors a plenty. Bad noise insulation between the bedrooms. Limited lobby and common areas. Tiny single beds barely big enough for a child. You have to book breakfast by 8pm the night before otherwise you can’t have it. Find a more normal 4 star hotel and skip this one or stay in a hostel for 20% of the price.

  Great place to stay!

  Stayed in a Family Room. Very friendly and easy check in late on Friday night. Clean room. Snug but we didn’t spend much time there. Bunks were large enough for our teenagers which was good and clean towels replaced each day. Didn’t stay for breakfast as plenty of cafes locally too. Great base to explore Berlin!

  Two smaller than single size mattresses arranged next to each other pretended to be a queen size bed, however during the night, the foam mattresses kept edging to the floor. We requested a room for a week and we had to pay in advance, as a result we were locked in to this hotel. The young receptionists are totally untrained in what are the attractions or services available in their own neighborhood so forget about giving you information about Berlin. They were quite diligent to stop anyone going to their breakfast room to ascertain that their breakfast was prepaid The breakfast offered boiled eggs, dry paper like small rolls?, Bread for toasts , cold cuts, cheese board that was good, the best was a fresh fruit salad and yogurt. Nobody greeted you, not a warm atmosphere or dedicated hotel professional. This hotel is in an excellent location, clean and close to public transport that is why I gave it this rating. If you stay in Berlin for one day, this is as good a place as any

  The level and detail of communications with reference to Corona Restriction and requirements at the Hotel is misleading and also outdated. At no point prior to our arrival was I informed that my 10 year old daughter who could not be vaccinated yet, required daily negative test to stay at the hotel . I offered a personal rapid test at reception so we can at least check in and I would provide a follow up test from an official test location yet was told this is not acceptable as it had to be a daily PCR test. Not only was the staff misinformed, but also extremely rude and defensive. I was told in no uncertain terms that this was all my fault and that I was "stupid" not to familiarize myself with the hotel requirements that were send to me. It turned out that a rapid test (the same type we carried for personal testing) from an official test location was acceptable after all. I did receive an automated Corona information link a day before my arrival. After going through three further sub-links you land at the Corona Verordung of the State of Berlin were one can read about the test requirements after making it through several levels of legal text. Ultimately the hotel staff refused to check us in forcing me to seek a test facility for my daughter. While I understand that there are restrictions that must be complied with the way the hotel communicated them and the staff at B&B Charlottenburg enforced them are totally unacceptable.
