    Nice hotel with rude employee

    It is located in the outskirts of Ludwigsfelde, surrounded by logistics warehouses. There is a McDonalds and Shell petrol station by walking distance. Hotel is nice, as usual as all Ibis Hotels. Problem is regarding reception. It is open between 7 to 11 am and 5 to 10 pm, if you proceed your booking via another hotel search engine it is not mentioned and they do not provide you access code. It is impossible to access the room between 11 am and 5 pm. I arrived at 12:30 am and although there were some employee inside the lobby and they do not open the door to ask what shall I do. After a telepone call manager came and did my check in with an unpleased manner. Others are all okay. Wifi is free and signal strong. There are plenty of parking free parking space. Room was clean and standard Ibis style. There is no lift in the hotel, disabled people shall indicate this during reservation for ground level room.

    The rooms on The motorowy sidle of the A10 can be disturbed by noise. Comfortable rooms, bedą OK. Close to Berlin. Thie is hotel for motorists, free of charge with a large parking lot. Next to the McDonalds restaurant. The price for the lowest possible custom, it is better to book in advance because at the last minute it is occupied.

    Just what we needed on our trip

    A room with comfy beds, clean sheets and relatively quiet surroundings. Amazing how you can avoid the noise from the A10 if you keep the windows shut. We have stayed in Genshagen a couple of times. I'm convinced we will choose Genshagen again. I loved the "polished" hard-boiled eggs on the break-fast table. In all: value for money.

    The hotel is about 40 km away from Berlin Center, but is very close to the highway and therefore accessible to those who come to Berlin by car. The price is also very good, cheaper than most Hostels in Berlin and this is a hotel, not a hostel. WiFi is ok. The rooms are small but clean and you can have a good night sleep after a long day of walking. There is a free parking onsite. Breakfast available for an additional cost of 7,5 Euro/person.
