    Great hotel, great service

    A residence hotel! What a joy. We had a good size room on the 5th floor, complete with 2 induction burners, refrigerator, microwave sink, dishes, pots and pans, silverware for 2 persons. Great for takeout meals. Lighting was great except in the bathroom, my only complaint! Wi-fi was very fast. Breakfast was great, complete with scrambled eggs plus everything else for a typical European breakfast. Good location, just about 7-8 min minutes from museum island and a U-bahn station.     We booked a self catering apartment. Really nice apartment, no toaster in the rooms but reception guy sourced one for us. Location is very good for wandering around all key central attractions.     Abysmal customer service

    Booked a room as usual, unfortunately had gotten ill prior to travelling. Cancelled the trip via the corporate travel agent, even called the hotel that I could not travel. Cancellation was too late (two days prior to the trip), had to pay for the entire stay. I did not even dispute this (rules are rules in Berlin!!), only asked them, please do not put “no show” on the invoice.Not a chance. The only answer I got was, “you didn’t cancel, this is a no show”.     Superb location, great business trip.

    Superb hotel for business trip. All I needed and more. Location was perfect for walks to all locations in the centre. Christmas markets were within 10 mins walk, as was the TV tower and local restaurants. Hotel was spacious, clean, free WiFi and a superb kitchenette in the rooms.
