  My single room was quite small, but had really cool windows.The real gym was closed, some equipment moved to a meeting room for use.Only one elevator, wait time can be long.My room had almost NO water pressure in the shower. I bought dry shampoo instead of actually washing my hair while I was there.Staff were really nice. Location is amazing.

  Fabulous Hotel in a great location

  Had another fabulous stay at this hotel. I stayed in suite 306 and this room is truly wonderful, very spacious and luxurious. My son stayed in a deluxe double room the first room was too hot so on the second night they moved him to another room which was perfect. The hotel is very well located for all the sights at Museum Island and the surrounding area. There are also lots of good restaurants in the area and is near to the train station to go to other areas like Potsdam to see the Palaces. This hotel is well worth staying at for a city break to Berlin.

  Do not use this hotel If you have an Iphone or Ipad , Wi-fi does not work with IPHONE.

  I stayed in this hotel in early March to attend a fair in Berlin so it was a business trip.The hotel is centrally located but not on Alexander Plaza , it is one station away it takes around 15 minutes walk to reach Alexander PlazaThe real problem in this hotel is the wi-fi , it does work on IPHONE or IPADS.On the day of the check in , i realized the issue and the staff tried by all ways to resolve it but there was no way . I asked to call the IT to resolve the issue they answered me that they dont have an IT inside the hotel and that they will call him .The following day while discussing this issue again with the front office another client came with the same issue complaining he cannot connect with the Wifi and he has also an IPHONE.Being in a business trip , i could not stay in the hotel as all my work is with phone and ipad , so i had to leave one night early and i asked them not to refund the full stay but at least the night i am leaving early as at the end i am leaving because of a problem in the hotel, they asked me to send an email which i did and did not receive even an answer or apology .NEVER THIS HOTEL FOR ME AGAIN, Classik Hotel Collection, at Classik Hotel Alexander Plaza Berlin, responded to this review Dear Scenic,Thank you for sharing your experience with us.   Perfect City Break Stay

  We had a lovely stay here for 3 nights in January. This is a boutique hotel with a really nice feel to it. Welcoming communal areas, light and airy, comfy seats, nice bar area with cake for sale. Lovely staff. Great location – within easy walking distance from the station, local attractions and plenty of restaurants.The breakfast was a highlight for us, seated in a beautiful cosy glass atrium. It was a small breakfast buffet area with really lovely food and highly attentive staff. The staff take a lot of care over taste and presentation. Our room was fine, except a long way up and the lift was being refurbished, so we kept fit having to walk up and down all the time. It helped us walk off some food though. They did put free drinks in the stairwell at intervals. They also did carry our bags up and down for us. We would certainly stay here again if returning to Berlin and would highly recommend this hotel for a city break.

  Lovely hotel, worth staying again.

  We arrived in Berlin in the snow and ice, but the foyer was nice and warm. Checking in was easy, with the help of a very welcome glass of sparkling wine, always a nice touch. Unfortunately, for the period we were staying, there would be no lift, it was being replaced, and we only found out the day before arrival. Our room was on the third floor, but the check in manager did offer to carry our suitcase upstairs for us, I managed though! It wasn't really a problem having to walk upstairs, but try telling my legs that after walking around some of the numerous interesting museums Berlin has to offer! We got used to it.The room was lovely and warm too, clean and bright, with everything they said available, tea, coffee, mini bar etc. Huge bed, very comfortable, good pillows. Nice bathroom with a good shower, good water pressure.Breakfast was also very good. I liked the breakfast room, basically the back courtyard, with a conservatory type structure built over. Very clever use of space. Hot and cold food available, plenty of choices. This is a very nice hotel, not too far from the lively areas, but far enough to be peaceful. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our stay in Berlin so pleasant.
