Location

Europe's largest convention and entertainment hotel complex is located in the Neukölln district of Berlin. Many public transport links may also be found in the surrounding area, such as the city train from Sonnenallee and the bus from Ziegrastrasse. The numerous sightseeing attractions of Berlin are all, naturally, within easy reach.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 1121 rooms, including 18 junior suites, 63 suites and 1028 double rooms, located in a 17-storey main building and a 13-storey auxiliary building. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a newspaper stand. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a transfer service, translation services, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a page service and a hotel shuttle bus. Cyclists can make use of the bicycle storage area for no extra charge and hire service. A business centre with projector, fax machine and photocopier is available. Events such as conferences, symposia, lectures etc., but also simple day-to-day business, can easily be arranged with the help of the secretarial service and the conference service.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. A mini fridge and a tea/coffee station are standard features. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Guests are always kept up-to-date thanks to the daily paper provided. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and a telephone are available for daily use. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

A sun terrace is a great place to while away the hours. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. There is a wellness area with a spa, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon, anti-ageing treatments and a solarium and, for an additional fee, a sauna and massage treatments. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, live music, a dance club and a nightclub.

Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. The non-smoking restaurant provides high chairs for children. Bed and breakfast can be booked. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes, children's meals and vegan food can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Avoid this place like the plague

    Worst part of town possible, unless you like feeling as though you could get stabbed at any moment. Rooms massively overpriced for what they are. I have never experienced such awful pillows. To top it off, they charged me 5x the usual rate as there was a conference, and didn't even include breakfast - which was another excessively overpriced addon, but they know once you're here you wont want to leave the hotel as the area is so horrifically bad.

    The rooms are without coffee and tea. There is no iron too iron your clothes. There is sauna and that is good but the sauna towels had been used for massage and the olive oil colour and smell you can smell and see them. There should be different towels for massage and other for sauna.

    HUGE property! Great if you’re visiting for a function at the conference centre. Room was large but very basic and lacked literally everything, including colour (it was very grey). Bathroom was the same… terrible toiletries and towels. Staff were “functional” and you felt like you were on a conveyor belt the whole time. Overpriced for what it was… you’re paying for convenience only

    If I could give it a 0 I would have. The worst hotel I have stayed at in a long time. For the price they charge I would expect a clean room with basic amenities such as conditoner and lotion. And a proper working aircon that does not sound like a airplane taking off. The room has a carpet which was dirty and has stains everywhere. The bathroom was not completely clean on arrival. And they will charge you for every little thing. The lighting is also poor. The pillows are uncomfortable and the bedding feels cheap and overused. The reception staff are not very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very noisy the outside , other guests and hallways. And the most basic thing you normally expect in most fancy hotels, coffee/tea making facilities was not there. The breakfast buffet was probably the only thing that was good and worked efficiently.
