  Excellent location for us as we were visiting our son and his wife who live a two minute walk away from the hotel ! Breakfast was included and was excellent ! Have stayed with his hotel company before in Berlin and never had any problems . The room was clean tidy and warm. Think it has been rebranded recently and the bar which was in previous photos has been removed and the reception desk has been relocated. Would definitely stay again…real German markets an added bonus 🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪

  Charming hotel with character - perfect for a short stay in Berlin

  Our second visit to this hotel and we loved everything about it. Quirky and authentic - we found it made our stay much more interesting than a modern hotel. Lovely architecture, large rooms, very clean, nice staff (especially the lovely woman in charge at breakfast - thanks for the coffees!) and a really good breakfast for only €10. It is near the railway, but we weren’t disturbed by any noise. Handy for the train, supermarkets, bars and restaurants, and a nice walk along Ku Dam takes you to the main shopping area. We couldn’t fault it, and will definitely be back.

  Great nostalgic hotel

  The hotel was great for me. Sure, it looks a bit old, but it's nostalgic, haha. I like the old style with a touch of modernity. The staff are great and helpful (thank you Ms. Receptionist for helping me print my 72 hr Berlin Welcome Card!). The room is clean and large enough for a solo traveler. The view from my window is ok (I think it's an office space). There's a heater, but I prefer to open the window because I sweat a lot. The bathroom is HUGE. Like 1/3 of the whole room haha! There's hot water so don't worry. The faucet water is a bit weird and cloudy (not sure if that's the norm there). The bed is comfortable, but I only received one pillow (I would have liked to hug another one). I just wish they provided bottled water or coffee to guests inside the room (maybe I don't have this because I chose the cheapest room? haha). There is a park nearby (Luna Park) with beautiful scenery and ducks in the lake. There are groceries and cafes nearby too. The train and bus stations are just walking distance from the hotel. The breakfast costs 10 Eur. There were bread, ham, spreads, patte, vegetables, fruits, tea, coffee, etc. I only tried it once but it's good like 4/5. Overall, I'd rate this as a 9/10 hotel. Got a discount BTW because of the agoda app and price drop. Will definitely come back again if I have a chance!

  Would have no doubt coming back here. Great for us in all way. We needed something with easy parking not too central but yet close to public transport. Ticked all the boxes. Delicious breakfast spread. Comfortable spacious room. Nice neighbourhood. Bit too close to the railway tracks and the trains could be heard but that was probably not all rooms.

  Very nice and cosy hotel with a lot of charme, a little old-fashioned as we love it…very clean, good breakfast and nice staff. We love this place with the old chestnut trees around. You can also sit outside. It’s quiet and close to city. We will return!
