  Extremely dirty room and even after letting the reception know they pretended to clean it but left it as dirty as it was.My son who is suffering from respiratory allergies couldn’t sleep at night.   Great weekend in Berlin

  Hotel was in a good, central location to see Berlin and all it has to offer. It was extremely clean, warm and welcoming. The check-in was excellent and the restaurant for breakfast had a lovely atmosphere. All the staff was pleasant and helpful.   My son and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was amazing from the start. Friendly and helpful check in staff welcomed us to the hotel, advising we had a free upgrade, the complimentary sweets, fruit and water were a wonderful surprise. The room was huge, lobby with wardrobe and storage, then large bathroom, kitchenette area with table and chairs, large sofa, cosy chair and two single beds. The room was clean, warm and comfortable and quiet, absolutely perfect and brilliant value for money. The breakfast area is large, good selection of food including cooked (eggs, beans, sausages or meatballs and turkey bacon), plus toast, pastries, cheese, meats, bread, pastries, fruit and more. Staff are friendly and attentive and there is plenty of selection for all. Reception area is comfy, we sat in there a few times to play cards, reception staff were welcoming, offering us drinks and free cookies. The location is fantastic too, just around the corner from checkpoint charlie, a large section of the wall and the topography or terror (an upsetting but interesting museum)If we went to Berlin again I would stay here without hesitation and recommend. It's approx. a 10 minute walk from the train station and perfect location to explore. Thank you to everyone at the Garner hotel.   Had a lovely stay. The room was lovely comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful with map, directions advise. It has a restaurant attached to it.Breakfast was a lovely set up and they were helpful with allergen foods- in fact one of the hot drinks machine was already set up for no dairy milk. It a great location for the tour bus literally less than a minute walk. Trains walking distance. And if you are able to walk a long distance I walked to the Brandenburg Gate about 30 minutes walk.I stayed for the new year celebrations the hotel didn't seem overly busy but enough people coming and going.I would stay here again.I also really like the fact they had a mini fridge in the room.
