    Comfortable stay with easy access to public transporation

    We stayed at the Gold Palais Hotel when we were in Berlin for the Berlin Marathon. It ended up being a perfect "home base" for us during the trip. Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and the breakfast (which you have to pay for) was delicious and well worth it. We found that it was very easy to get anywhere we needed to go via public transportation as the there was a tram stop right out front. The tram could then take you to Alexanderplatz to catch an U-bahn or S-bahn going wherever you needed to go. We also found the hotel location to be very convenient as far as food choices, with many options in walking distance. We also located an Aldi not far away, so that gave us an easy option to pick up snacks and drinks for our room. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Berlin.

    Sebastian in the reception is such a good man and he really helped me thinking my lost phone in a taxa. Besides that he is playing a good playlist in the reception, is a good listener and you can just feel he is good man. Thank you for being who you are to me. Besides that the room are clean, there is a park close by to run and train. The location is in a quit area and you can get around from there easily. Big time value for money .

    Very affordable, friendly staff and great location. Clean and modern. Recommend!I also enjoyed the parking places to check in, and the possibility to park in the garage (for only 20 euros a day). Nice with late check out for 20 euros.

    It's a quiet hotel. Lovely rooms and fast wifi. Good running at the part around the corner, a nice little off licence / bakery next door.Perfect if you like the quiet life.The pillows are a bit weird, but I think that's a German thing.

    This hotel is good. The rooms are large and comfortable. Limited staffing hours mean that if you go out until late as I did one night, you can’t get in at all if you lose your room key! There is no restaurant but there is a machine that sells the odd food item if you’re desperate. After taxes, my room cost slightly over €200 per night every night for three nights. Really expensive for a “few” frills hotel
