Location

The hotel is located 550 metres from Alexanderplatz and the TV Tower with excellent public transportation nearby. The Alexander Platz U-Bahn (underground) and S-Bahn (city train) stations are just 2 minutes’ walk from the hotel, and the Tegel airport shuttle and tourist buses 100 and 200 leave from Alexanderplatz. There are numerous restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity, while the Brandenburg Gate and Gendarmenmarkt are roughly 2 km away, and the Museum Island is just a 10-minute walk.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in an 8-storey building with a lift and 337 rooms. Multilingual staff at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions.     Location good within walking distance of train station & sightseeing buses. Bars/restaurants within walking distance. Room was a good size, with coffee maker. Beds comfy but pillows abit too soft. Breakfast was really good.     Rude reception staff, towels like rags, equipment in room not working.

    Would not recommend this hotel. Given one star for the location, about 10 minutes walk to Alexanderplatz station where you can get metro/ train/trams all over for sightseeing. (Many other hotels in this area). Reception Staff are rude. Room was clean, but lacking the expected 4star - no iron. No fridge, no shower cap, no solid hand soap, towels were like old rags included a picture was appalled. Safe didn’t work had to report it twice before any maintenance came. Tv remote didn’t work most the time. (Battery problem) Would never return to this hotel.     Booked this hotel as it is only about 2 minutes walk from Alexanderplatz Square Train/Underground station, about 35 minutes on train from airport. ( Bourne fanatics will recognise this area) Stayed here for 3 nights from 26th Feb. Arrived about 1pm and got checked in quickly with no hassle. Reception staff very pleasant and explained re breakfast etc which we had pre booked. Room was on 4th floor and was clean, warm and quiet during night. Hotel policy is to not clean the room daily but if you need it cleaned or towels changed etc just need to ask. We had no issue with this. Breakfast was buffet style and was lovely with plenty of choice. As so close to Train station we where able to see all the sites with no issue even though there was a tram strike on. Would recommend and would stay again. Only issue was on the last night when the bar area was closed off due to a private party, we where told we could sit in the reception area and buy drink from a cooler not what we wanted on our last night.     Made a booking and paid via Agoda. Then hotel is disappeared from Agoda. I made a refund but not sure I will get it.Whattttttt?????!!!!!!!
