    Terrible. The room is so hot, thermostat does not allow for adjusting it down. Forced to open the window and let in all the noise. WiFi works in 5 min intervals, no smart TV.     Poor customer service and changing rooms slyly

    Room was swapped without us being notified When we got to the room we realised we had been given a disabled room We spoke to the reception when we came back from an event and they said that’s the room we booked but it was at 3am so didn’t really challenge it We then spoke to reception again when we checked out and they basically said we purchased the room and probably went with the cheapest optionI then showed them the booking to which proved I hadn’t indeed purchase the cheapest option and they had made a mistake without following process 2 weeks later still waiting for an apology and an addressed email to this Overall the hotel is clean Breakfast isn’t as bad as people have reviewed I didn’t eat but there was enough seats food available and drinks Centrally located and close to the touristy pointsIf it wasn’t for the above I’d have probably given it a 4 just on the poor customer side of things and being cheeky and amending rooms without customer aware only there one night Sophie Harrold, Owner at Hampton by Hilton Berlin City Centre Alexanderplatz, responded to this review Dear Natalie W,Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.     Divine Hotel , delicious breakfast!

    Arrived at the hotel after flying in on a late flight. Easy to get too by the train s9 which takes about 45 minutes to arrive in alexanderplatz .The check in was smooth , stayed in room 632It was a nice size , clean and comfortable bed. Wasn’t able to watch tv ,as was German no English channels however wasn’t in the room long enough really .Breakfast was included one of the nicest freshest breakfasts I have had , everything was luscious , easily set out , waffles are massive , highly recommend the pastries and the scrambled eggs. On the one day they had what tasted like meatballs and they were very delightful! Drinks in bar were reasonably priced too.Easy to get to Big Bus tours for hop and hop off which we did and booked before going.There is in the foyer a helpful guide for the buses too . Number 1 on the bus route.Would recommend this hotel for all and would deffo stay again . Short walk to the tv tower which is a must too !     Great location near Alexanderplatz

    We stayed here for 3 nights in February and found the location was perfect for us, walking distance from Alexanderplatz. We stayed on the 5th floor and had a good street view, the room was a decent size and was clean. Good choice for breakfast between hot and cold food. Staff were very friendly and the reception area had plenty of seats, perfect for a drink after hours of sightseeing. Alexanderplatz was close by for going to shops and Alexa shopping centre was close by. During our visit we went to Berlin TV Tower, Berlin Icebar and Reichstag Building which we had to book in advance and was also free. We went to Berliner Kartoffelhaus, Heim Werk restaurant and Nante Eck restaurant and the food was very tasty. Kilkennys Irish bar and Das Lemke were also very good. We enjoyed our visit to Berlin and would recommend the hotel.     Great hotel in a decent location, the hotel itself if clean and warm and offers breakfast which is fantastic and plentiful, doesn't matter what time you go its busy I would suggest closer to 10am, there's a gym which was adequate and clean, fresh drinking water and towels. We stayed on the 8th floor and had brilliant sleeps.
