Location

This pleasant hotel is situated in the district of Charlottenburg, only a few minutes from the exhibition centre, the ICC and the main bus station. Numerous tourist attractions, such as Charlottenburg castle and the Reichstag are within easy reach of the hotel, just 10-15 minutes away. All of Berlin's districts are easily and quickly reached using the underground and the suburban railway (S-Bahn), which are few metres from the hotel. Templehof airport can be reached in 15 minutes, Tegel in 20 minutes and Schönefeld is an hour away.

Facility

The hostel was built in 1897. The hostel has 75 rooms, including 10 single rooms and 19 double rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hostel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. Guests in search of the perfect souvenir are sure to find it in the gift shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services and facilities include room service, a laundry service and a hairdresser. Rooms

    The room itself was clean. The shared bathrooms were also clean. The towels provided in the room are very small - I’d bring your own. Sometime the person manning the front desk will disappear for a while, so you could be waiting some time for them to arrive. You can check in after 11pm. The hostel is close to the trains station, so it’s quick and easy to get into central Berlin.

    Do not expect much. its a classy low budget place to stay. Neat and clean place. Facilities were pretty decent. I had a good night sleep, no shouting, no party inside, everyone was respectful towards each other comfort.

    I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights.The best thing about this hotel is the location- just next to bus-stop and 2 minutes away from the train station.Staffs are friendly and rooms and bathrooms are clean.A complete value for money

    Rammstein at olympiastadion berlin

    Very welcoming, ideally situated, clean, ideal for a short break, our family visited to watch rammstein at the olympiastadion which was easily reached due to a fantastic travel network, Jamal was a great host on our return despite the language barrier, Welsh /Scottish. 😊,and helped us plan our airport transfers in the morning, I highly recommend the happy go lucky, 👍

    Nice staff! Easy location to find and the guy at check in was very friendly! The hostel itself is really clean and nice! Wifi didn’t work though no matter how hard I tried - was only there one night so didn’t bother going down the flights of stairs to reception
