Location

This hotel is located northwest of the Berlin city centre, close to the underground train network (3 minutes' walk) and the motorway (2-4 km). The quiet location near a large park, Jungfernheide, allows guests to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. Good connections to the centre allow visitors quick, easy access to Berlin's attractions (20 minutes). Guests will find restaurants, shops, the Kurfürstendamm shopping strip, Spandau, Schloss Charlottenburg and the Brandenburg Gate all within a 20-minute ride on public transport.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 336 non-smoking rooms located in two 4-storey buildings with lifts. The reception desk is open round the clock. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Other services include a car hire service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. A mini fridge and a tea/coffee station are standard features. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Guests can take advantage of the nightly turndown service. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror, bathrobes and a telephone are provided. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Excellent swimming awaits guests at the indoor pool. Fine weather can be enjoyed on the terrace. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam and a solarium. Subject to charge: massage treatments.

Meals

The dining area includes a non-smoking restaurant and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers special catering options. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    We were there for an avent in Berlin, and had an overnight stay.Not a fancy hotel, expected better regarding the cost of one night with breakfast. The breakfast was the thing that made the 3 stars.     We stayed four nights at your hotel and were satisfied with the room but not with the cleanliness.The room was never cleaned, dust was under the bed, and nuts from the previous guests were still on the floor. Only the towels were replaced at our request.The breakfast was fine, but the evening buffet lacks variety. On the last day, the meat and fish were dried out. Not worthy of a four-star hotel.     FOR EVERYONE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE LOCATION: Note 'WEST' in the NAME! - It is NOT in the centre of Berlin! BUT: it's <5 minute walk to the subway, so then...you can get ANYWHERE. Since I was visiting Siemens for a few days, the location was perfect. Beyond that, beginning from the initial very friendly welcome at reception, good breakfast (wide selection and friendly, welcoming staff), a quiet, comfortable room (WITH WINDOWS THAT OPEN! - YAY!), it was perfect. Good clean room with SENSIBLE lighting options, no silly card-switch etc - I could charge my devices while away... Clean, well-lit bathroom, sensible shower, good bed & long enough comforter (I'm 188cm) - all in all, I was very happy. An example of why I usually pick IHG/Holiday Inn/Express hotels because they're a reliable known quality that I know will work.     Room was vey nice, clean with all the necessary amenities. Reception person Dogan was very helpful. Check-in, check out was very fast & smooth.     Liked this hotel a lot; it had a confident air of style about it. Rooms were great, food very good, reception fine. Alas the bar staff were rude to the point of irritation. We attempted to buy a drink after a long day touring the city and they made it almost impossible making us wait almost 20 minutes before even acknowledging our existence. Such a shame as it was a lovely bar area. Sadly that dropped the score down from five to four stars and I won't be troubling the bar staff here again.
