  No sleep and not in fun way

  Room was clean and close to U-Bahn, but otherwise terrible stay. Aircon was broken for whole our whole stay and it was 27 degrees in our room. Asked staff for a fan and they kept saying they’ll “try and send someone” but no one ever came. Different staff gave different answers each time. Staff don’t really seem to know what’s going on at hotel and there’s no one physically at hotel. Facilities all run down and didn’t seem to be open. Woken up by slamming doors every morning. Their whatsapp chat is just an AI bot that was unhelpful. Had a horrible sleep due to heat and noise for whole 4 nights.

  Lovely quiet hotel, the self check in was easy. You unlock the room and main entrance using the app which was very straightforward. The breakfast was delicious and had everything a continental breakfast has to offer, there aren’t many staff on site but they were all extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I had a terrace, there is a step up going out to it but I managed this with bad knees. The road is very busy but it’s nice to sit out and just watch the world go by. Once in the room with the door closed you can hardly hear the road noise. All in all I stayed 5 nights and I’d definitely book this hotel again.

  Loved this hotel would definitely stay again

  We stayed 3 days here. No complaints. Extremely clean and modern. Shower was amazing and bed was so comfortable. The hotel is quite far from most things however we didn’t mind. There is no one on reception or in there, you have to use your phone to unlock the front door and your room door they also give you a code everything is digital so if your not very clued up with tech this hotel might not be for you.

  This was booked for us by Travelmakers as a 4 Star hotel (see photo) on arrival the Hotel the access code provided did not work .Had to wait outside at midnight till someone came and we piggybacked on their entry. Took nearly half an hour to finally get a room. No staff to help, just computers and phone calls.Room sparse but clean. Pay extra if you want your room refreshed. Breakfast adequate . Roof terrace and Bar can’t be accessed after 10.30am as the lift won’t go to that floor. Bar was in same area but never open. On enquiry we were told it was not run by Homaris Group. No facilities to make hot drinks. No facilities to leave luggage after check out. We were advised to book another night if we wanted a late checkout. Lockers in the spa area were either broken or no keys in them. There were supposed to be towel’s available in the spas. There were none. Digital is fine but where is the service if things go wrong. During our 5 day stay we did not see one member of Homaris staff. We did see more than 9 people struggling to book in, just as we had, on occasions we passed the unattended “Reception” Desk.

  The hotel itself has a cool self service concept to it. Check in is completed online, there is no one behind the reception desk. You can unlock your room from you phone and the lights are controlled by a tap screen. Mirror had a built in radio which was pretty good. Bed was okay, pillows were pretty flat and you were given only 2 for a double bed, I had to fold my pillow to give it some volume. What tarnished our experience was the noise we experienced and the lack of help we were met with. Constant beeping outside our room every 2 minutes which kept me up at night. When reported to the hotel we were met with automated bot responses. When someone finally responded they had said they’d send security up- i’m not sure any came to our floor to assess the situation as the noise persisted our entire trip. Even after reporting it multiple times nothing was ever resolved or explained to us. However the rooms themselves must have thin walls as we could hear doors slamming and noise from neighbouring rooms. I can’t speak for the breakfast and rooftop bar as we never went. Having your room cleaned during your stay was an extra up charge so we never bothered with that either. Location was okay and it did have good access to public transportation to reach the main part of Berlin. Do take note that as of writing this (November 2025) the local station Güntzelstraße is currently under construction so you can only access that station when coming back from central Berlin.
