This charming city hotel is situated in the German capital of Berlin. The Kaiserdamm subway station lies right in front of the hotel and the Messe Nord S-Bahn station (on the Ring Line) is just around the corner, meaning that the historical centre of Berlin and Potsdamer Platz can be reached in less than 20 minutes. The establishment lies in the Charlottenburg Westend district of Berlin, which is a totally safe area with many restaurants, theatres and the famous KaDeWe on the nearby Kurfürstendamm. Other nearby attractions include the Funkturm radio tower (approximately 600 metres away), Schloss Charlottenburg palace (approximately 1.5 km away), the Reichstag parliament building (approximately 6.5 km away) and the Brandenburg Gate (approximately 6.6 km away). Tegel International Airport is around 5 km from the accommodation.

    I last stayed in this hotel ten years ago. I was impressed then and was equally impressed again this time. The hotel is very clean, the staff were always helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good quality and tasty. The room was very comfortable with air conditioning and a lovely hot shower. The hotel now has super fast 400mb broadband which was a very welcome addition. Being only 30 minutes from the airport it was ideal for my short breakSee review

    Really good midrange hotel very near Kaiserdamm U-bahn station. Lovely rooms, traditional decor and layout, helpful and friendly staff. Based in nice neighbourhood, 15 mins or so from the centre. Would book again when back in Berlin

    Great hotel! Received a warm welcome. Terrific location as close to many good restaurants. The breakfasts are amazing - so many choices - from smoked salmon to fresh fruit and yoghurt . Rooms are spacious and very bright. Absolutely would stay there again.

    Very nice hotel with friendly and helpfull staff. Room was spacious and clean, with a balcony. Breakfast was very good. There is an old and very interesting elevator. Metro station is a minute away so you can get to city center fast.     Small and cosy hotel , good breakfast with manu choise . Close to Metro and bus stop to city center, bed is small but ok.Good dinner resturent in the area We would come again another time if possible Sibylle Korbmacher, Inhaber at Hotel Brandies, responded to this review Hello sunshine, we appreciate your comment. We offer different room and bed sizes. Next time ask for superior or deluxe rooms and sleep comfortable in a german double bed (1,80m x 2,00m).
